Jessie shrugged as in a way of saying she understood. "Alright, mind if I ask what that boy said to make you change your mind?" She crossed her feet at her ankles and leaned back supporting herself with her hands. Her ear twitched as she was still listening to her surroundings and waiting for a response.
"Well, in terms, he told me that I should just get over it. In this world the only person you can trust and know well always have your back is yourself. I believe that he is right, that this world is crazy and that shouldn't matter at all. I guess you could say that he gave me his honest oppoion of the world and I took it." Casey sat cross legged on her bed. "You don't have to sit on the floor, you know? It is probably better to sit on the bed anyways."
"Well, he was right for the most part." Jessie stood and sat on the bed next to Casey with her legs crossed. "He was right about the world being crazy and how it shouldn't matter, but there are people you can trust. Maybe only one or two, but they are out there some where."
Casey simply shrugged. "That is possibly true, but the fact is that it is hard to find them and more than not you can't see it because you keep your heart closed. It all depends on your out look on life."
"This is true. Now, my other question was what kind of power do you obtain," She looked at Casey seriously, her eyes filled to the brim with curiosity.
"The same powers as a Neko, but I also have a very harmful venom that is most effective in my spider form. My powers are limited depending on my form. If I am in my human form, such as now, I am limited to the regular human ablities, along with my senses being stronger than most and my venom still usable but it takes longer to take effect which makes the pain of dying form it slower and more painful with every passing minute." Casey knew only as that much about her powers, she had not the slightest clue that there might be other forms or powers that have yet to be unlocked.
Jessie nodded slightly. "Do you have a piece of paper and pencil? I'd like to write this down so I can put it in one of my books when I go home." Her tail swayed back and forth in the air out of interest.
"Uh... Sure." Casey bent to the floor and picked up her backpack. "Why do you want to put down all this in a book?" She asked as she pulled a pencil and paper out of her backpack and handed them to Jessie.
"Because I'm a mystic. You are something I've never seen and I want to make sure I write it down," she replied as she took the paper and pencil and began writing. "I want to keep track of what's out there."
Casey nodded. "Okay, but you should know that I don't even know all my power yet. All I know is all that I told you but my father says that should be more surprises to come as I get older."
She finished writing and looked up at Casey. "Well then, I'm just going to have to keep track, if you don't mind." She folded the paper up and slid it into the top of her boot.
Casey shrugged. "As long as it doesn't get too invovled in my life then it is alright."
"It shouldn't, I'll just need you to tell me if anything new ever happens that's all." Her ear flicked as she listened to the noises outside and through out the house.
Casey nodded. "Alright. What you should know is that my DNA is mixed with a black Neko and a brown recluse spider, making me a Unlucky Brown."
Jessie pulled the paper back out of her boot and unfolded in, she began writing again. "Anything else," she asked as she finished writing.
Casey though for a moment, thinking weather she should say what her venom does and how easy it is to get into the body. "Do you want to know about my venom?"
"I want to know about anything and everything, so, yes please." She readied her pencil so she could write as she heard the information.
"Well, for my posion it gets stronger the closer I am to my spider form. When I'm in my human form it works slowly, taking months, sometimes years to fully kill the vicitum. When in Neko form it takes weeks, sometimes up to a month. But in my spider form it takes only minutes to kill someone. What my posion does is that it eats away the flesh in the human being. Starting form the organs then to the muscles, then skin, then bones, up to the point where there is nothing left but a memory. It is a painful way to die." Casey explained her venom, and all that it does.
Jessie nodded as she wrote down everything she heard. "That sounds.. painful," she said with a shiver. "Is that all?" She uncrossed her legs and stretched them out in front of her.
"For now, yes. Do you have anymore questions?" Casey asked as she uncrossed her legs and just let them hang off the end of the bed.
