There are always secrets that can be kept. Keeping them, however is no easy task. No matter how big or how small, there will always be something strange or terrifying that certain parts of mankind, or any other humanoid race for that matter, will try to hide from the rest of the world.
Somewhere out in the wasteland, a truck is transporting a special cargo, various creatures of myths and legends, conspiracies and cover ups and who knows what else, caught in special containers that could only hold them. They are about to arrive at one of the most secret areas on the planet, governed by the most reclusive organisation to not be heard of in the known world. At least, not yet. SECRO Labs is the place where secrets go to be locked up and studied. Whether it be a sentient black hole creature, giant spiders, werewolves, a book of the dead, an alien spacecraft from 300 years ago, a genetically engineered bio-creature, some form of supernatural entity or some kind of living chair, it ends up here to be studied. SECRO is unsure if the specimens are for good intentions or dire purposes. Either way, anything that goes in never comes out. There are at least 50 floors down under the surface, and it just so happens you are one of the new specimens. Shortly after your arrival, something goes wrong. Within moments, the alarms start blaring, containment areas are breached and the entire site goes into lockdown.
Using your wits, cunning and any allies you meet, you must escape this terrifying facility, being wary of useful items that defy the laws of physics and technology, strange illusions that will make you doubt your own reality. Always be on the lookout for the terrifying creatures that have been lurking in the darkness since the dawn of time. You must reach the surface levels before the 6th day of lockdown confinement, or else you'll be stuck here forever, another secret to be forgotten.

the desert wastes glide by as the truck runs over the numerous dunes, the cold, harsh winds blow against the the fabric coverings of the carriage. in such a place there were not many living things, and yet here, on this night, the silence was disturbed by the echoing rumble of the machine. within were several different passengers, of course, not all were willing to take this journey. particularly the captive creatures sat in the back, guarded by four armed soldiers in the highest quality gear. each one was unfortunately taken from their homes or dragged into this predicament, each one restrained by shackles specifically designed to keep them contained. some were scared, some were enraged, some seemed to display no reaction, perhaps this was for the best ,given where they were headed.
the truck came to a sudden halt, jerking forwards. as the driver got out and slammed the door, he noted the large, square 45meter by 45meter grey block of a building that stood out like a needle in a haystack within this barren landscape. after nodding to the soldier at the back, they let down the ramp and walked out, "Ok, load em out" so that they could lead their new "guests" out and line them up.
the first of these to get out of the truck was probably the one kept under the most....restraint, so to speak, he seemed to be wrapped in a strange type of interlocking chain, a material like fabric that was dark green and a large, bulky, featureless helmet that resembled a giant mushroom top, he seemed to be in a straightjacket and wore green pants(viletron), the guards shivered as they tried not to touch it, seemingly giving off a disturbing atmosphere as it stood there in the rigid chill of the night.

The brothers were not happy about their capture and nor would their employer be.
Once the truck came to a halt, the duo jerked a little before they were sent out for what they could only assume was inspection. Melanc looked depressed as usual as he kept himself up only enough to look confident. His expression was very contradicting though as it looked tired and bored as if this happened often, though it didn't. Night, on the other hand, seemed to look as if emotions were fighting for control; his face displayed curiosity, anger, disappointment and such. Night stepped out looking way more confident than his older brother. The pair had been though a lot but they usually got though. But these guys seemed like pros, and they weren't stable at all. Though, for the moment, they looked human, which was a good sign... they though...

As the truck rumbled down the road, bouncing over the various potholes in the primitive path, one of the captives woke with a start. Her green eyes flew open, and she attempted to lift her hands to feel her throbbing head. Finding them chained together, she looked around the interior of the vehicle. It was dark, but not too dark for the girl to see. She identified the soldiers around her, looking up at them from her position on the floor of the truck. She growled at one, but he whacked her with the butt of his rifle, quickly silencing her.
As the truck skidded to a stop, Charlotte looked up. The blue dragoness was scared, that much was clear. Her eyes were wide, and her fanlike ears were pressed against the side of her head. As the truck was unloaded, she cooperated, not wanting to mess with the soldiers or anyone else. They clearly were able to silence any one of them, except maybe the one standing in front of her. It seemed that everyone there, or at least who she could see, was regarding the figure with a sort of distant fear, as was Charlotte.
As they stood outside, she started to shiver. It was cold. And dry. That was the thing that got to her the most, the lack of moisture in the desert. It seemed to suck the water right out of her scales. She could feel herself weakening, and her legs began to tremble.

Lupus wasn't happy. How could he be. He had only been on this planet to simply visit, to see the life here first had. Yet when the inter dimensional demon 'god' was caught and restrained, that only angered him. Though the man never believed he should harm those weaker then he. This is why he came to be in shackles on this truck. He would play along with their game for awhile, and not showing what he was truly capable of earned him lesser restraints then others. His long furry golden tail thrashed behind him as he felt the machine rumble to a stop, and soon they were pulled from the vehicle.
When the shoulders reached for him, the white haired man would look up at them. A glare from his solid red, glowing eyes was enough to keep their hands off him. He compliantly stood, and filled out with the rest. He looked fairly young, and stood at abut six feet in height. Other then the tail, eyes, and hair, he looked otherwise human.

Being the last one to be escorted out of the vehicle, Lance didn't exactly seem to be angered or happy. He didn't honestly care what would become of him. He seemed the least chained, a simple set of handcuffs was all he had, along with his pistols being tied down, being unable to shoot or removed, but at least he had them. Lance didn't seem special, a detective maybe, as his trench coat and trilby hat hid his pistols from the other "Guests" but the guards knew he had them and knew that he wouldn't be able to use them. He may not look like anything significant, he had magic, and that was the main reason he was being brought here.
He also seemed to be the most compliant of the group, as he wasn't captured, he was asked to go to wherever this place was. And knowing that if he declined he would be taken anyways he obliged, leading to a several day "trip" from his home to this desert outpost. Not like he had anything better to do than sit around his lakeside cabin and fish all day, this was a change of pace for him, now whether it is a good one or a bad one remains to be seen.

the soldiers quickly dispersed and covered the proverbial chain gang from all directions, the leader, a man in goggles signalled for them to walk. they did so, the creature within the flat, wide iron helmet shuffling as if blinded by the metallic cage upon its head. of course the soldiers had to lead it but refrained from touching it, it appeard that most of the other captives save for the more timid seemed to give off a dangerous air.
as they approached the building, a large, metal garage door began to slide upwards with a loud creaking motion, within was a well-lit space filled with creates, more guards, and a large hexagonal platform set at the end of the room, a man in a white uniform came over, his slick hair and thick glasses only added to his pompous demeaned as he looked condescendingly upon the new arrivals and began to tick them off his clipboard, while describing them in a less then polite manner, "Lets see what the reports got you down for, a brotherly duo with demonic connections, well twos better then one i guess" he said glancing at the brothers, "a dragon? honey we've got quite a few like you, aw don't look so sad at least you'll have company, or not depending on-oh never mind" he said giving an eye roll to the trembling dragoness, "some kinda demon guy? huh, might want to make sure your heavenly confined, says here you register as a level 4 on the threat definition but i think well use more safety precautions" the guards stood by as he causally walked past the red eyed humanoid, jotting his notes, "you look...pretty normal, huh, well i guess we could use more test subjects" he poked the mans hat, "pffft, what, playing dick tracy? you'd be amazed at how many people in law enforcement we-" the goggle-wearing commander coughed discreetly, after all this was a reclusive operation, he sighed, "and finally, huh thats weird, I cant seem to find any info on this guy except examine with caution-UUUGHAHHA!!!" he recoiled in disgust, jumping nearly out of his skin as he almost walked into the heavily chained, helmet wearing asylum patient looking one. a metallic, echoing hiss emanated from within as he tried to shuffle forwards , the mans face was full of revulsion as he tried to brush himself off "ugggghvhgh, keep that thing away from me! i swear you people find the stuff of all our nightmares combined!"
as he finished his inspection, he gestured they be loaded onto the large hexagonal platform, the soldiers complying and ushering them onto it. as they got on they would feel it dip a bit, like getting on a rather large elevator.

Hey, sorry did I miss much? Sorry for posting before blue tips had a chance to reply.
yep, just continue off the last thing posted and go from there
As Charlotte was led into the building, her fan-like ears flattened even more as the door screeched open. They were very sensitive, being adapted for hearing things underwater. She looked around once it had stopped, noticing the bleak interior of the building. She wondered what was in the crates stacked against the wall. Snapping her head to look over at the man with dark glasses when he addressed her, her nostrils flared when he had mentioned that they had more like her. How many of them have been taken? She wondered. She narrowed her eyes, trying to stop the shaking. She needed water. Soon. She could feel the inside of her mouth starting to dry out, and - did one of the crates just move? She shook her head, and looked back at at the box. It must have just been an illusion. Once the inspections were finished, they walked over to the platform, and Charlotte noticed that it felt a bit like stepping onto an ice float. She sat down, pulling her tail around herself and quietly stared at the deep blue scales and her bright yellow fins.
He complied, following into the building, noting how boring it looked both inside and out. He glanced around, bored, seeing the crates around to take his mind off of whatever would happen, until he heard the voice. The voice of authority was making remarks about each of the people here, he listened to his, taken aback at what the man said, although not showing the comment had any effect, instead he decided to act sarcastic.. Lance rolled his eyes at the remark, mumbling under his breath, "Normal... Bah, what does he know... And my hat is quite fashionable..." He huffed, walking onto the platform, noting its elevator-esc feel.
Lupus' eyes narrowed at the man as he walked by, describing him as 'some demon guy.' Oh, he was far from just some demon, very far from that. Yet he would hold his tongue for now. They would find out eventually. The white haired god was actually curious to see what he meant by 'heavenly confinement.' So he silently complied when the group was loaded onto the platform. He noticed the dragon among them, and how she seemed to be afraid. He stood ridged, crossing his arms behind his back as well as he could with the restraints. He would then use his telepathy to contract the dragon, to reassure her. He would have spoke aloud, but he felt it may have made the situation worse if he did.
"It will be alright. There's no way they can hold us forever."
He spoke into her mind.
"It will be alright. There's no way they can hold us forever."
He spoke into her mind.
Hearing the voice in her head, her eyes widened and she looked around quickly. Seeing the white-haired man looking down at her, she assumed that he was the one that had communicated with her. She managed a small smile, although her trembling didn't stop. He was correct in his observation of her being afraid, but knowing that there was at least one person here that cared did reassure her. She kept holding onto her tail, waiting for the lift to go where it was going to.
the creature with the blank, metal flat helmet atop its head and shoulders shook unsteadily from side to side, an ominous mumbling coming from inside as it fidgeted under its mossy green, chain-link bound restraints. it stood just between the vampire and the dragon.
the scientist-looking fellow rolled his eyes as he stood in front of the group of captives, just another part of his job he had to deal with, surprisingly often given the vastly unexplored mysteries still yet to be discovered. four guards stood at different points of the platform while a safety railing shot up with a loud *thunk" around the whole platform. as the man in white uniform completed typing in a code to a terminal just at the front, the elevator suddenly jerked a bit, before slowly descending down a long, metal shaft. The journey down was silent apart from the mechanical droning of gears and cables lowering them down into the depths of the facility. as they came further down they would see doors, large doors numbered and bolted tight, go past them, and square, dim pale white lights casting shadows that did not encourage their situation.
the trip down wasn't forever, but it seemed almost an hour since they left the surface, the doors marked 1-30 with labels such as, "experimental transport, unusual cargo management, anatomical research, language deciphering" among others went past without much anticipation, it was only when they began to go deeper into the abyss, where the lights went a menacing red hue and the doors started to go into the 40's-50's did things become suspicious. strange noises from ear curdling screams, long, monotonous moans, vague whispers, loud buzzing and inhuman cackling emanated from some of the doors, the sounds even causing the guards to shudder. the subject of their contents did not help either, "occult research, bioengineering, cybernetic implantation, necro-physiological/supernatural practices" were just some of the things written on the doors that slowly ascended past the elevator. probbaly the strangest was that the last 5 doors marked, "45-50" had no resigned title, they were simply unknown.

"Sit dea est mors vos reperio vestri somnia et non est terminus."
((Translation: May the Goddess of Death find you in your dreams, and end you there.))
Lupus muttered. It was an insult to his captors. Though he chose to utter it in the lost language of his homeworld rather then in english. He would love to see their minds reel as they try to decipher what he had said. In all the universes and timelines, only three knew the language fully enough the speak it thoroughly. Himself, his mother, and his grandfather.

Lance watched the number count down, noting the various labels. He heard Lupus mutter something, but shrugged it off, its not like he was concerned, yet. As the numbers started getting larger he started to worry, How far down is this place? They can't mean for us to stay here... Right? He thought to himself. "Well isn't this just grand" He muttered, quietly testing his chains' strength, strong enough to hold him, but not strong enough to withhold his magic. I just need to wait for the right moment, then I can get these blasted cuffs off of me. He thought to himself, snapping back to reality as the elevator stopped at floor 50.
"Is this where we are staying?" He asked sarcastically, "I don't mind it, but I think you guys are treating us like we are the top 10 most wanted individuals in the world and frankly that doesn't exactly fit our... descriptions if you ask me." He was trying to annoy the guards at that point, and maybe the other people that had been captured, but mainly the guards.

"Most wanted?" Night started in regards to Lance's question, being equally sarcastic, "more like most important! This must be the finest VIP treatment they got."
Night earned a small smile from Melanc, which disappeared as fast as it came. It was still achievement enough and Night smiled.

as the elevator landed on the ground floor with a thud, the railing retracted, and the guards motioned their "guests" through the entryway. they entered a vast, square white room, the lights were bright and iridescent. four large fans rotated behind giant vents while small holes in the ceiling expelled a form of moisturising spray that covered the area of the room. the creature known as viletron, locked in his great steel helmet and chained straightjacket shuffled a bit to the back, only to be poked at gun point to keep going, "you are not slipping away, any of you, even if you could the elevator has a 24 hour recharge period every day" the scientist looked back as they traversed the long span of the room, "yes please blurt that out soldier, very helpful" they got to a large, double automatic clear door of perspex glass. once again typing a code that resulted in a high pitched whirring and the subtle *whoosh" of the doors sliding back to allow them entry. "but your right, escape from here is nigh unlikely"
As they made their way through the entry, Charlotte's ears picked up a faint hissing noise. At first she thought it was the snake-creature in front of her, but then she felt the moisture condensing in the air and on her scales. Her eyes widened, and she looked up to see the mist shooting out of the vents. As the droplets landed on her scales, they seemed to disappear. She was absorbing them into herself, similar to how a frog would. As they walked, she stopped trembling, standing up taller and feeling better overall. Her fanlike ears extended, stretching out to catch as much water as she could before they left the chamber. At least she wouldn't be losing any after this point.
sorry, i just didn't want it to be an rp without enough detail, i didn't think it could have too much....
