He floated silently in place, his eyes widened farther than they ever had been before. Thanks a lot Chrysalis, you just bumped Equestria up to the top of Vastator's list of 'worlds to be completely annihilated before my plans can go into effect' list. His stillness was all of a sudden interrupted by violent convulsions in the god's body, but they almost immediately stopped. Then...it happened. Every single mouth on it's body opened far, and Vastator screamed with deep rage, the rage only one of the most powerful beings of all could call forth. This scream was so loud and powerful, it could be heard echoing throughout every corner of this world of insignificant ponies. The entire planet momentarily shook, and any non-elements/non-alicorn/non-significant pony would likely be crapping themselves at this point. Why's he so mad? He knew well what Chrysalis was doing right now, and he would have none of it. It was time to give them a show of force, to make them all back down before they can finish constructing their armies. In all six of his hands materialized swords, each identical to the one he uses in his humanoid demon form, and he teleported straight above the Palace.
"DAMMIT ALL!!! YOU WILL LEARN YOUR PLACE, PONIES!!!!!"
Vastator immediately began blasting the city, a veritable rain of black energy projectiles, surrounded with a violet glow, each with the explosive force of medium-sized bombs falling on Canterlot. He also began grabbing random ponies who may be running for their lives on the ground, and...oh god...he began ripping them apart, violently. If you don't like extremely violent imagery, back out of this now, because Vastator LOVES inflicting gory deaths. If you're wondering how he bypassed any barriers around the city? Well, it's like you said, even though the Elements are weakening...he still managed to effortlessly get past those, no?

WE NEED MUSIC, btw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i79hrwlumhk
As the projectiles traveled toward the city, they vanished and reappeared as random objects. Potted plants, ice cream sundaes, volleyballs, balloons, stuffed animals, and a myriad of similar odds and ends rained harmlessly down upon the fancy unicorns of Canterlot. They turned up their snouts at the garish display.
Those ponies targeted by Vastator's other attack temporarily vanished in white flashes of light, then reappeared, unharmed.
"Oh, you!" a voice called out in Vastator's direction. "Brute force? How boring. I would've expected more subtlety from someone of your age!"
It was Discord, of course - but he disappeared immediately after speaking. His powers, however, continued to negate Vastator's assaults.
"Scramble Lightning Strikers, first wave," sounded Celestia's voice.
Fifty armored pegasus ponies wielding blades on their forelegs lifted off from the Palace's courtyard and streaked toward Vastator in formation.
"Commence bombardment."
A squadron of unicorn battlemages launched a coordinated arcane strike on Vastator's form from another direction. First, several instances of Starswirl's Disjunction to destroy all magical effects in his area. Next, multiple copies of pierce magic, remove magic, break enchantment, and pierce resistance to nullify natural protections. Dimensional anchor to prevent teleportation. Then the actual assault, of fire, frost, electricity, acid, light, paralysis, petrification, blindness, enfeeblement, confusion, enervation, and disintegration.
"Thunder Warriors."
Another squadron of pegasi, these ones more heavily armored and carrying purplish orbs of crackling magical power. As they closed, they released them - the orbs sought out Vastator and exploded on impact, each with the power of a low-yield tactical nuclear bomb.
"Vinyl, are you ready?" Luna's voice, now.
"Who cares if I'm ready?" Vinyl replied from inside the ECU. "Lets' KICK IT!"
The metallic suit stepped through a glowing aperture and into a field some eight hundred kilometers distant, far from any major population center.
"All right Vinyl, pay attention," Octavia's face popped into existence inside a square icon on Vinyl's heads-up display. "You'll notice a small base has already been constructed for you. It's imperative you begin constructing forces as quickly as possible. Celestia's orders are to focus on air units for the moment. You will be apprised of the situation at regular intervals."
"Let's do this!" After a quick scan of the blueprints available to her, her horn lit up. At the same instant, the corresponding horn on the machine's forehead also lit up - and a beam of blue light shone out from it, connecting with a large, flat box made out of the same blue light.
A few minutes later, she had two air factories, several engineers, and a contingent of fighters and bombers. The base she had gated to had included a scattering of air and ground defense turrets, along with a handful of magic extractors and harmony generators.

He barely saw the assault coming. Deciding that even this may well be a bit risky, the abomination took to the skies as fast as it could, just barely dodging most of the blasts. One of the high-powered blasts caught him by his tail as he departed, causing him to howl in pain as most of his tail was blown off. As the burning appendage dropped with a massive thud on the ground, Vastator breached the planet's atmosphere and then prepared his own counter-attack. But then...he began laughing. MADLY.
"AAAAaaaahAHAhahAhHAahahaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Your counterattack has only shown me what to expect from you now...I SHALL return, and you will SEE THE POWER OF NOTHINGNESS!!!!!!!!!!"
Now outside the influence of the disabling spells, assumingly, he formed gigantic chunk of ice in his hands, about 1.5x the size of Canterlot, and threw it with extreme force at the city. However, this was mere distraction to cover his escape. Albeit he was powerful, it would seem he still hasn't managed to power up past Discord's level. But he had a plan to deal with this. After going to his peak flying speed and leaving the boundaries of this solar system, he teleported in a massive black flash back to his own base. Now began his next plan.

About two hours after the initial clash, Vastator's demon army began showing up on Equestria. Their numbers were extremely large - there were at least a million of them bearing down on Canterlot, attacking in waves of ten thousand apiece. The waves were comprised of the usual footsoldiers, each wielding a dark sword and a rapid-fire organic arm cannon that fired the same types of dark blasts that Vastator was fond of. These footsoldiers comprised four thousand of the ten thousand total in each wave. Two thousand of them were a more powerful type of Inanis Demon, the Void Dragons. These are elephant-sized dragons that look similar to other I. Demons, in that they seem to be decayed and have the same pinprick-of-light-in-eye-sockets thing going on. Their wingspans were, obviously, much larger than that of the normal I. Demon variety, and they can take four times the punishment as the footsoldiers. Their attacks consist of firing beams from their mouths, and they can choose to fire beams of each of these four elements: fire, ice, lightning, and darkness. The next three thousand in each wave were the mages of the I. Demons, known as the Inanim Arcanum. They know many spells, and are even adept in countering spells such as Starswirl's Disjunction and Dimensional Anchor. These also happened one of the three elite houses of Vastator's military. The second house comprised the last one thousand members of each wave, the Inanim Interitio. These soldiers only know spells to enhance their bodies, but their actual combat training is much more advanced than what normal footsoldiers receive. They're basically the berserkers of Vastator's armies, and they wield weapons ranging from giant swords to titanic axes and maces. But half of the Inanim Interitio are trained in mech piloting, and show up in large demonic winged mechs that each have a purple-black energy blade and multiple missile launchers and dark energy cannons. In other words, there are also 500 mechs to deal with in each wave. The mages began casting buffing spells on all the other troops (and themselves), and started a magical bombardment of Canterlot, whist all the other soldiers and dragons moved into the city proper and began fighting the Equestrian military. On top of that, there was another 5,000 that came to Equestria in waves of 250 apiece, comprised of the third of the elite houses - the Inanim Caecus. These were the spies and other covert officers of Vastator's armies, and they are mainly used for espionage, assassinations, and sabotage. They used the chaos caused by the battle to sneak off, casting invisibility and other concealing spells on themselves, to reach the base undetected, and began planting bombs in it that, in just three minutes, would explode and forms small black holes in the base, thusly destroying it.
Now that all the descriptiveness is out of the way, it's time to reveal the plan behind this. They did, indeed, come through portals that dropped off near Equestria. However, Vastator set up a plot to confuse anyone who would dare try to reach him through these portals, because of how they stay open for a minute or so after everyone intended emerges from them. They actually went in a large trail across universes, their last stop being the farthest planet from the Sun in the Equestrian solar system. In other words, using Vastator's own portals against him would take whoever goes through to a cold, desolate world where there would be no escape unless one of the Equestrian deities intervened. Actually, all of the soldiers not engrossed in combat were holed up in a flying base somewhere outside the Equestrian solar system, where they would portal over to the Pluto-equivalent planet, wait for said portals to close afterwards, then portal over near Canterlot. There's also another plot involved here, but I won't go into that now. The three minutes mentioned before start now.

(I apologize for the wall o' text. Kinda trying to make up for lost ground I suppose.)
Blake was absolutely stunned from going through the portal. After expelling the contents of his stomach and getting himself oriented again he noticed a couple of things.
First, this place was absolutely making his skin crawl. It looked like something out of a nightmare. He instinctively put up his fire armor and started walking to where the demons went. The last thing he wanted to do was get lost in this place.
Second, apparently the portal didn't like his bike. He shrugged and didn't really complain any. He seriously doubted they had any gas stations here anyway. He did really like that bike though.
While he was walking he kept feeling like something was rubbing against his mind. Some sort of corrupt and dark THING. He was shaking it off to the best of his abilities, but it was making him focus on all the times he'd wanted to lash out and destroy. He kept walking with flames and anger licking at his mind.

(This SO tempts me to have Rashinnu crash the party! Of course she would likely wind up on Vastator Inanimentum's side as twisted as she is...no really she would probably find this whole mess to be a huge amount of exquisite fun. Does anyone object to having an extremely twisted, sociopath of a vampire phoenix burn her way into this party? I don't want to ruin it for anyone else after all.)
( I don't see what the problem would be. I mean it IS supposed to be a mash-up of universes and all that jazz. The more the merrier I suppose. )
((Feel free to find a spot to have her come in, EVERYONE is welcome. Also, you don't need to keep using his full alias to refer to him, Vastator or even just Vas is enough.))
( TWO evil fire-manipulators? Oh this is going to be fuuuuuun.)
((I wanna apologize for the delay in posting, I have a lot of stuff going on at the moment. I'm going home on leave friday, so I'll have more free time soon.))
Finally, he's told that his demons did something right. Just like he ordered, it seems his forces were successful in bringing Blake here. And in good time too, as Vastator just had a bit of time freed up as he waits for report from his massive attack force pressuring Equestria. Meanwhile, he waits at his throne room at the center of the planet. The way to reach here it through a portal at the top of the aforementioned tower. Why is it so hard to get down here? Well, in case his enemies find their way to this planet, it won't be easy for THEM to reach him, either.
Blake finally reached the tower the demons had instructed him to go to. The entire time he was walking that uneasy feeling kept coiling around him stronger, and he could feel a severe mental strain building on him.
As he was climbing the tower with his demon escort, he noticed his vision seemed to be flickering. Instead of seeing the demons themselves he saw the heat they were emitting. It took him a moment to realize through the building strain on his mind that somehow he had apparently gained the ability to see in the thermal spectrum. He focused a bit on it while he was walking and found that he could not only turn it on and off, but also seemed to be able to change the range of temperatures it detected. Unbeknownst to him, this had the effect of making his red eyes become luminescent with varying degrees of intensity.
Upon finally reaching to top of the tower he felt like his mind was going to snap. He stared at the portal and every step he took towards the thing only increased the strain that much more. He didn't so much walk through the portal as basically fall through it.
When he emerged through it he was mildly thankful to find it hadn't been anywhere near as disorienting as going through the first one. He would have been incredibly relieved if not for the pressure getting worse, which he had honestly thought had been impossible. That corrupt presence inside of him finally seemed to take root as well and he could feel his anger and hatred instead become cool and focused. As he finally managed to get his eyes off the floor and actually look up and see Vas, he felt something snap in his mind.
He couldn't exactly comprehend the being he was seeing, so his mind did something he hadn't expected. It broadened. The focus he had been using to keep his fire armor going suddenly seemed insignificant. He was suddenly able to focus on multiple aspects at once, and a part of him came to the realization that whatever this being was it must have been the thing that had made his powers flare. Suddenly able to actually LOOK at this thing without being in incredible pain and pressure, he stood and then gave a proper bow and proceeded to address the creature in front of him.
"My name is Blake Numara. It's come to my attention that I may be able to provide you my services in exchange for sanctuary." He cocked his head to the side. "It would also appear I would have you to thank for the sudden escalation in not only my abilities, but mental faculties as well. I thank you for that. How may I be of service?"

"A pleasure to meet you, human. I've been watching you for a while now...ever since that first outburst which led to this. I must say, I'm mildly impressed at what lone humans can do at times. But I must stress the 'mildly'."
The place looked... bizarre. Instead of the place looking like a gargantuan cavern as one would expect, it looked like one was out in space again. Dark purple clouds could be seen everywhere floating among the starry ether, and there were stars and clouds streaking by as if they were moving at high speeds, while most in the background seemed to stay still. Basically, imagine going to warp speed in an average episode of Star Trek. The floors were fashioned of transparent crystal tile, and a giant black throne stained with blood was the centerpiece of it all. He floated off of his bloodstained throne and hovered right in front of Blake, all his eyes focusing on the pyrokinetic human. His godlike voice lanced out again.
"Before I discuss business, may I inquire as to how my men treated you on the way here?"

Blake looked around for a moment and started to become slightly disoriented. As confusing as the surroundings were Blake decided it'd be best to focus on the being in front of him as startling as its' own appearance might be.
"I was treated well enough I suppose. They weren't exactly inviting or anything and basically left me to my own devices until I chose to come here. Which, admittedly was a rather easy decision to make seeing as, unique, this place is. Once I finally got to your tower I was escorted to the top."
Blake was definitely becoming more uneasy the longer he looked at Vas, so he had to alternate between looking at him and the surrounding area. It was quickly becoming rather difficult to maintain any sort of clear focus amongst all of these factors, and Blake was beginning to have a hard time maintaining any sort of orientation.

He could easily tell that Blake was having a hard time adjusting to his surroundings, so the god snapped his fingers and the place took on the appearance of a normal (yet gigantic) cavern again, and Vastator himself transformed into his humanoid demon form again. Best to treat your new minions well.
"Good. You should have seen how they treated the last one, which is why I do not usually trust them with these matters. I could not help it this time, however, as I was out on important business. At any rate...I've another inquiry for you. Why did you follow them here? Not that I'm complaining, but most humans avoid my portals as if they were the plague. Did you have another reason?"

Blake's relief at the changes in the scenery and that of his host was immediately noticeable. However, when Vas asked his last question his anger surged and his armor responded in kind by becoming a few hundred degrees hotter and burning a bit brighter.
"My reason is that I'm sick and tired of being hunted and persecuted! Everyone where I come from either fears me or wants to exploit my abilities for there own gain. I can't live a single normal day without having to worry about someone attacking me, freaking out, or just straight up acting like I don't exist."
He stopped for a moment to reign in his temper and his armor dropped back to its previous temperature and luminosity. "My apologies. It seems it still likes to get away from me when I get emotional. As I was saying, I was tired of being treated like some freak. Combine that with the fact that my house had just been turned into a crater, " at this he pointedly glared at Vas a bit, then went back to an even look, "and the fact that those blasted hunters were at my doorstep again, and the idea of having some sort of refuge, no matter the source, suddenly seemed like a VERY promising idea."
He sighed and continued his speech. "If I could have ever gotten away with it I would have just reduced them all to ashes, but the only reason I wasn't hunted as seriously as some others is because I made a point of not killing any of them. Had I done that I would have never known a moments peace. With them thinking I couldn't kill any of them I at least gained some measure of distance from them."

Well, this was understandable...and yet still all the more amusing to him. He chuckled a bit...then again...some more again, this time a bit louder...then a full laugh came...then, out of nowhere, he was laughing madly, emitting a soulless sound that seemed as if all the fear, hatred, and despair in existence just started channeling through him as sound. It was as if the spirit of insanity had just visited and left it's mark. After a minute or so, he finally managed to rein himself in. He won't deny that that wasn't a little fun, though.
"HAHAHAAAAAA!!! Why settle for killing some of them?! With MY help, you could completely eradicate every single one of your hunters! No one will even know they ever existed when all is said and done. You'll never be hunted again."

Normally, Blake wouldn't be entertained by the thought of all of this pointless violence, but the corruption and negativity that he'd been feeling since he'd been here spurred him into acting different than his normal nature.
He grinned a bit and responded. "Sounds like a plan to me. I'll know peace if it has to be made from everyone being turned into piles of ash. I'm a lot more suited to the task now too, given the abilities I've gained from coming to your plane. Doesn't seem like they'd be anything temporary I think. It feels more like I've changed and not just gotten a boost like I did at my home."
Blake put his hand on his chin and thought for a moment. "I wonder if I'd be able to create a volcano."
