In all my time roleplaying, I've noticed one particular thing. If it's a story and plot line I can really get into, and enjoy doing, I noticed that I get so into character that I feel what my character feels. If they get giddy, if they get mad, I do, and so on.

Please tell me I'm not the only one like that.
You're not alone.
Oh I do the same thing..

I have found myself just balling my eyes out when something sad happens in a RP
So not alone, been there, done that, bought the tshirt.

This is actually quite common amo ng roleplayers. It is also a very common trait of extremely good actors who have gotten so far in to character that they enjoy and suddenly react as their character does. It's useful and helps you really build a story. I wouldn't say you should seek out diving into those emotions on purpose, but there isn't anything wrong with it happening. It's the same as getting yourself emotionally invested in a book or movie!
All of this. This and so much more. It makes me wonder about myself at times, but it's a good feeling overall. It means that you're enjoying yourself, and what you have going on is really good and immersive! <3
Yeah, it sometimes happens to me.
Damn shame about a quarter of my characters are clinically insane. Feels terrible RP'ing a paranoid schizophrenic.
