Arrow's helmet disengaged, and he looked genuinely scared. He was a kid back in Russia, suffering from PTSD and experimental-surgery side effects. His eyes barely watered, but the tears were there. He looked hopefully at Amy. I'm seeing things... I can't think straight. I'm a liability to the team. I was the reason that Austin and Kenneth got left behind. I'm afraid I've hurt people...

Amy's eyes had teared up some as well. She too disengaged her helmet and simply held him. She didn't know what else she could do. There is no team anymore Arrow. There is me and you. I need you. If you can't trust your eyes. Trust me... I'll tell you where to shoot..

Arrow nodded slowly. "Thank you," he whispered, barely audible. Arrow hugged Amy tightly, and stood up. There was still the enemy to deal with. If there was no more team, they at least owed it to the former team to complete the task. He reengaged his helmet, and looked around, trying to ignore the screaming, dying people he saw. They weren't really there, only in his mind. Tell me where to shoot.

I will, there is no threat that I can see right now. Lets go back the way we came... unless you have a better plan.. She looked around. Just to be sure, but still saw no threat.

Arrow nodded. Yeah, I guess we can. It's not like there's any better idea. He let Amy lead the way through his nightmarish visions. They were slowly fading from his sight, since she calmed him, but he still saw things that didn't belong.

Amy lead the way back, her hand remained on the arm of his suit, as if to remind him what was real. Her eyes were peeled for any sign of trouble.

Arrow allowed her to hold onto his arm, leading her back the way they came from.

After a while of walking, they might see the outline of someone a ways out.

(Oops, meant to say leading "him"*. Sorry, typo.)

Amy paused with Arrow. Don't be alarmed. I think I see people up ahead. At the ready, but don't shoot yet. She approached with cation, not yet able to tell who it, or they were.

(Must go to bed. Night )

Wildner had managed to get Austin to safety as well. The monsters were looking for them, but the small cave they were hiding in would keep them from sight.

"Calm down, Austin. It's me, Kenneth. Remember? Kenneth Wildner? Ghost 1?" his voice was calm and soothing.

Arrow nodded at Amy, and paused when she did. He didn't want to cause any more trouble.

Austin was hysterical. "I don't give a damn about your name! You helped them attack me!" Austin winced again in pain. The armor was not helping to comfort Austin, especially when the knife was going through it. In fact, the armor made it harder to get the knife out, holding it like a vice. Austin's outbursts of anger got weaker, though, as he bled more and more.

Amy drew closer, and it was then, that she saw who the figures were. "Holy mother of..." They're both alive!. She gripped Arrow's hand, and pulled him along, as she ran towards the men.

Austin, how badly are you injured?!

Arrow followed quickly. He was relieved to see the two alive.

Austin looked around frantically when he heard Amy's thought. Damn it hurts... Where are you? I can't tell how bad it is, but my chest burns like hell. There's something weird about this knife. I can't remove it either.

Amy would drop to her knees beside him when she got there. She would look quickly at Wildner. "Glad to see you made it." She said, though her voice remained cold. She then looked down at the damage done by the knife. She put her hand on the hilt and tried to pull it out herself.

Austin screamed in pain as Amy grabbed the knife. It would be very difficult to pull the knife back out, as it had a blunt tip which bent the armor inward just enough to keep the knife in place. It was possible, if pulled on hard enough, but the pain would cause Austin to start seeing black spots.

Amy frowned, but his scream would stop her from finishing the job. "Austin, I think if one of the guys did it, they could get it out. do you think you can handle it?" Gone she hoped so, so the suit could work it's magic, otherwise there was a good chance he'd bleed out right there.

Wildner sighed as Austin raged at him. "I'm not one of them, trust me." He then looked up as Amy came in. listening to them, he said: "I'll see if I can get it out."

He nodded, realizing it was the only option. Hopefully the nanobots injected into him earlier still worked, otherwise he would need more help than he could currently get. "I... Think I can handle it." Austin realized that Kenneth was a friendly after all. "On three, okay? One..."

Wildner nodded and gripped the blade with both hands. He waited for Austin to countdown, that way he'd be prepared for the pain to come.

Amy sat to the side, had she been comfortable with touching, she might have tried to comfort Austin as such. She was however not, and so she just watched worriedly.
