It was a nightmare, of sorts. Her eyes wild she looked at the others. "Suits now." was all she said before she ran to grab the watch that would suit her.
Austin and Arrow activated their watches immediately. Red was hesitant.
"Why should we- Ah!" Something invisible slammed into him with incredible force, crushing him against the wall. It was very clear that he was dead. Austin's voice came through the comm system.
"Evacuate now!" The bunker seemed to realize that there was something else here, also. Too late, though. It locked down all access to vehicles and weapons, restricting them to materialization to SET armor only. Arrow and Austin followed Amy, making sure she got her watch before heading out of the bunker, trying to avoid anymore attacks.

Amy grabbed her watch just as Red was crushed, she screamed, but didn't stop running, she followed Austin and Arrow out of the building, activating her suit as she went.
Hologram appeared, smiling devilishly. The low growling in its throat grew louder before it disappeared again. What was left of SET escaped the bunker to be greeted with a destroyed city. No time to take in the sights, though, because a horde of deformed people oozing crimson stuff all looked at the three in unison. Infection had done its job well.
The voice grew louder.
Oh yesssssss. The people have lost their city to the Cause. This is only the first. Soon the entire world will be changed forever.... Humans will cease to exist.

Oh sweet Jesus Amy said to the others. This was insane, it was.. Oh god, what had happened?! How had they missed this happening." Her eyes welled up with tears at the thought of it all. This time her tears weren't of fear, they were of anger. Someone had to pay for this.
The people screamed inhumanly at the three SET operatives, as if to blame them for this horrible deed. Each person was uniquely deformed. Some of them had a larger arm than the other, or had a bulging head. These people hardly looked human anymore- Which was probably the point. Austin didn't even need to say "Run!" before the horde of zombie-like people charged, moaning and howling as they went.
To make matters worse, there were still survivors, who were being mercilessly hunted down by John's Experiments, alongside Hologram's clones and Infection's infected. There were more identifiable Cyborgs as well, ones that Austin, Amy and Arrow would recognize, such as the infamous BUG. Known for its bug-like giant red eyes, this one was known for an incident in China, where he terrorized multiple provinces with his unmatched speed, strength, and arsenal of weapons. The thing was a hydraulic mech, with no arms, wide legs, and a large head with a control panel on top, connected to a jet-pack on its back. BUG was speeding through buildings causing them to collapse by shooting wildly as it charged.
There was also The Reaper, a large, hooded creature that no one got a good look at. If you did happen to see inside the cloak, you would barely make out a skeleton, shrouded in an unholy black mist. Of course, you would never get that close because of the giant laser-scythe.
Austin realized that to try and save any survivors would be a lost cause, and continued to lead the team away from the city.

Amy kept running at Austin's assistance, there was nothing they could do now for these people. To stop and help, would be to die, and that couldn't happen, they had to stop it from spreading world wide.
Austin materialized a small bike in front of him as he ran, hopping onto it and starting the engine. Arrow just continued to run, taking advantage of his speed now. He realized Austin could go faster, so he did so as well. Austin would slow his bike in case Amy wanted to ride as well, and to make sure she would be okay in case she tried to materialize a vehicle of her own.
Seeing that the others had done it, she did the same, materializing a bike, that she sort of haphazardly jumped onto as she ran. She quickly caught up to the others, after a moment of getting the hang of the thing.
(Can I join in?
If so, can someone give me a really short summary of what happened? it's a lot to read and I don't have time right now, but Kenneth could probably come in useful)

Damn, those Infected were fast. Austin was nearly ripped off of his bike. The infected people were apparently enhanced with powers now, too. Tendrils lashed out, and people jumped out of nowhere with scythe-arms slashing, sharp enough to tear through SET armor.
Austin swerved. "We need to get out of here now!"
Arrow agreed, but said nothing. Now hovering inches above the air, Arrow glowed with an orange-ish yellow, and lasered Infected that tried to attack. Just a few more miles to go before they left the city behind.

Amy kept going, trying to keep up speed so the hoard wouldn't grab them. She wouldn't stop until they got out of the city, barring any unforeseen circumstance like being told to stop, or if one of the guys stopped.
The group continued to go, passing the city limits. There weren't any cars on the road at all, which was odd, but the group kept going anyway. Eventually, Austin would stop at a gas station. Not that they needed gas. All of the vehicles ran on Battery Crystal energy. But the gas station was a good place to regroup.
Amy pulled into the gas station when Austin did. When she came to a stop, she would recall the bike and look around, no one was around. How very odd
(BTW Olthain is an excellent RPer, if you wanted to give him a catch up, I except you wouldn't regret it )

Wildner lay well hidden on a hill overlooking the street and the gas station. The tall grass around him made whispering sounds as the wind played with it. His ghilly suit made him invisible to the human eye, and his high powered rifle, modded with even more power for the occasion, was set up in front of him. He took out the radio he recieved from his commanding officer and set it to his ear. As he spoke, his voice was quiet, yet clear. "This is ghost 1 for SET squad, do you copy? Over."
Assault rifle suddenly in hand, Austin spun around at the voice. Unfortunately, the radio comm systems in the helmets didn't really give much sense of direction. The person could be miles away.
Austin tried thinking at Amy the way he figured Arrow did. Switch comm channels, someone else shares our ears.
Austin remained on the channel. "I copy, Ghost 1. This is Grey Leader. What is your position, over?"
A reasonable question. Wilder would probably recognize the SET armor and technology, which was notorious after the Cyborg incident was resolved. If he was, of course, from the future and in the military, he might find himself familiar with some of the technology the SET squad was using today. Much of it might seem foreign to him as well. This was because much of SET's tech had never been recovered, and failed to be recreated.
Get in the station, I have the feeling we're being watched. We'll keep communication via thought link, and you can relay the orders to Arrow. Only use the alternate channels if we have to. If this person can hack SET Comms, he could easily hack into another channel.

Amy frowned at Austin's request, she did of course, as she was told, relaying the information to Arrow, but she didn't quite retreat into the station, she wanted to make sure she couldn't get a feel for this person's intent before that. It was silly to send the mind reader inside, as she would likely be able to assess his threat level more accurately then the others.
She reached out with her mind, searching for the new voice, hoping he was close enough to do so. If he was close by he would likely feel the odd sensation of Amy's power. Do you mean us harm? The thought was not necessarily heard, in a traditional sense. It was more placed as a thought in his head, though clearly not his own. It would be very difficult to lie, given that most could not control their thoughts. If he was not close by, nothing would happen.

Wildner was told about the mind speaking ability that the others posessed, but was startled nevertheless.
I mean no harm. I was sent by high command to join you, he thought, hoping it to be heard. He then replied: "Gray leader, this is Kenneth Wildner. High command sent me to help out. I am currently located one click to your south-east, on a well defendable hill."

Austin had thought nothing of tactics when he gave the order to get in the station. He was clearly not thinking straight. The horde of Infected might have had something to do with that. Nobody should have to see that many people in that state.
After scanning the hill and finding nothing, Austin checked again with thermal. He saw the man this time, and waved. The assault rifle disappeared from Austin's hands. If this man was willing to give them his location, he was either a very brave/stupid/genius hostile or a trustworthy friendly.
"Copy that, Kenneth." Switch comms, I think he's friendly. Stay frosty, though. We don't want to trust someone who will betray us. Who the hell was high command? The President? SET's creators? Another military? Why did he come to help them? It's not like they were, you know, fugitives trying to clear their names or anything like that. Austin's mind raced with questions like these, but said nothing. If they couldn't trust this guy, they'd find out soon enough.
Any idea who high command is? "Kenneth, this is Grey Leader. We're going to advance towards the hill, copy? Over." Austin looked at Amy and Arrow to confirm they were following before moving across the street.

He's not hostile Amy would tell Austin the minute she knew, she relayed it to Arrow as well. That didn't mean she trusted him, just simply that she believed he wasn't going to shoot them right then. Who was high command? She'd believed Set's creators to be as high as it got. They had reason to be cautious too, as the government believed them to be traitors, and fugitives.
Amy would follow Austin towards the hill.
