I'm BAMcArt4. My early RP days started almost 2 decades ago in DnD. Both DMing and playing on and off in campaigns until around 4th edition came out. Most of my RP since then has been in MMOs with forum RP related to characters in-game: WoW, SWTOR, ESO, FFXIV and a few others. Going to see what RP I can find here with out a gameworld providing the setting (Though I would happily forum or PM RP in those IPs).

I am pretty open regarding settings:
High/Low Fantasy
Sci-fi/Futuristic
Modern - Realistic, Mystical creatures or whatever.
Less preference on historical/medieval.

Most of my RP experience is Action Adventure related with older DnD campaigns and MMO RPing with story arcs. Romance was typically a subplot in those campaigns arcs. However can enjoy most genres as long as a good plot is involved with least interest in horror. I don't mind gore however excessive gore becomes just that to me: excessive.

Haven't really started on any character ideas, settings or genres other than some rumblings from past IPs:

Warcraft - Tauren Shaman - Either Nomadic or Shamanistic focus any time before cataclysm timeline. Horde too if set after WC3.
Star Wars - Any character - Any era. Can generally get into SW RP very easily and quickly.

These aren't set in stone and really open to recommendations of any RP to get started.

Welcome to RPR, BAMcArt4! I'm pretty sure i've seen a WoW following lingering around somewhere here before, and the love for DnD is strong as well. I'm more than certain that if you posted a topic in the Smalltalk forum you could start up a conversation and get plenty of people with a similar background to pop out like magic. We are really lucky to have such a diverse rp community here, so rest assured, you've come to the right place.

I am up for either 1x1 or group. Most of my DnD of course was group focused however in MMOs I am accustomed to mainly group arcs with 1x1 branches to help get more involved and progress the story in different ways.
