Tian Wei (played by vagues)

Tian nodded in understanding, only a fraction of the stiffness in her shoulders dissipating. She took another sip of her tea, the warmth working to soothe her nerves. It was almost obvious that she still wasn't completely convinced of it all, but she was trying to believe.

"Do you not get along with the other fae?" she asked, glancing the butterfly every so often. "Surely, there must be others around, or are you the only one?"

(Sorry it’s been a minute! I didn’t forget about the RP.)

Kenji rocked back in her sitting position on her butt, her gaze flicking up to her shelves of jars. She reached a hand up to brush some of her shorter strands of pale lilac hair out of her strangly hued face, as her milky eyes shifted back to Tian’s face, smiling warmly.

“There are many others here. They are just more so concerned with themselves. Most of the fae type are rather self absorbed, a little bit conceded. Not all though, others prefer to live the solitary life. Others do enjoy festivities and parties and dances and socializing, but in honestly, I find humans very intriguing. I want to hear about and learn what life is like for you and your people.” Kenji explained.

A very soft, folk like music drifted somewhere in the distant forest, adding to the natural music of birds and forest creature chirpings. A few of the golden glowing orbs hovered in the open entrance, peering in curiously at Tian.

( Hey, wow, I'm so sorry I didn't reply until now!! I got really into a clan rp group I made and the notification for this thread got lost in it all. )

Tian peered back at the orbs, wondering to herself if they were some sort of magical insects. The sparkle of curiosity danced in her eyes next to the reflections of the orbs. "It's odd," she began sounding distracted by the orbs and pleasant music, "that you could live in a place like this and still be interested in the world of post offices and processed snacks."

She would be lying if she said it didn't at least slightly interest her, too. Growing up on a farm outside a small town had never given her the same opportunities that most people her age had. Being in a world of song and golden light overshadowed any care she had of her own world, though. Tian looked back at Kenji, realizing she should, at the very least, be offering to answer any questions the fae might have. "What interests you the most?"
