"Zombies will never happen." They said. "Nothing could cause such an epidemic." They always laughed about it. Now though, now they are all dead. Because the things that would never happened? It did just that...

Of course she had to be the one that was able to escape the school and run for safety. Such a place she hadn't found yet to be honest. Selene was on the track team, or was. Speed had earned her the nickname 'bullet' and she lived up to it. She was thankful for this skill now as she ran. It was a chilly night that night. The moon was full and winter was almost in full swing. And then the wonderful sounds of groaning and screaming of the Zombies.

Rule numbero uno...never think that the possible is impossible.

There were gunshots sounding nearby; 30 bullet clips which when emptied would be followed by the sound of manacled laughter and the click of a clip being reloaded and then more gunshots.

She stopped in her tracks and turned to look for the source of laughter. Finding him shooting them one by one. A groan came closer and she turned to find another zombie limping it's way toward her. Grabbing the nearest thing, which unfortunately for her, was an umbrella. But swinging it hard enough caused a satisfactory crack and the thud of a falling zombie. Now her weapon was broken. Selene needed to find something more lasting.

Doc stood There with his pet fox in one hand and his AUG assault rifle in the other, letting bullets fly into every zombie he saw.
"Zis is Wunderbar!!!" he cried out like a child on Christmas morning.

Finding a bat from a toy store not to far from where he stood, Selene watch him as he shot some more. How had he survived this long? She hit one zombie in the back of the head, doing the same to the others that were starting to surround him slowly. Not all of the ones he shot stayed down. That's where she came in at as she hit some of them as quickly as she could with a bat.

"Ahhahahahaha!!!!!" he laughed wildly, clearly mentally unstable as he spun around in a full circle, letting his finger just lay on the trigger.
The red lenses of his gasmask glowed softly, casting an eerie light on everything.

"The only live person I have seen so far and it turns out to be a maniac." she beheaded another zombie. Now the horde of zombies split into two, one after her and the other being shot down by the man with the shooting frenzy.

He only released his finger to reload the assault rifle and about a minute later the last zombie crumbled.
"Zat was Wunderbar!!!" he laughed, "Don't you think Keera?" he asked the fox cub who was cringing in his arms.

Killing the last of the zombies, she looked at the insane man as he spoke to his fox. She didn't know wether or not to approach him or be safer by staying on the search for a place safe enough to sleep.

"You fight well," Doc said, the eerie glow of his his gas mask lenses falling upon Selene, "Even vith only a blunt waffe."

(Go right ahead )

She had chose the latter option, go seek shelter. But that changed when he had acknowledged her, "And you fight..." How to put word to that. "Insanely but effectively." She tried with a raised eyebrow. There wasn't much to say to describe it. "She is very cute." She pointed at the fox he held.

"Zis is Keera. Not much say other than she keeps me company," he said as the timid cub tried to get into a more comfortable position in his arms. He dropped the AUG and it swung down to his side, attached by a strap.

She smiled at her. "That's good in times like this." She had a dog when the world was normal. Just a puppy, but since this happened, she couldn't find him anywhere.

He laughed maniacally, the small spark of sanity that had struck him as he spoke of his fox disappearing and he looked down at one of the zombies that was struggling to crawl towards him, "Today it vill rain... Zee rain full of pain~" he said in a singsongy voice and unloaded the rest of his clip into it's head.

Oh sure, while two survivors got cozy with one another, there was a commotion starting some blocks down the road. A shuffling of feet and the collective groan of the undead. A small horde, probably about ten of the wretched, rotting monsters as they stumbled after their quarry. A young man, probably no older than 19, dressed in blood spattered jeans and a black jacket, the hood drawn up to conceal his features in shadow. A backpack was slung around a shoulder and the glint of knives could be seen in his hands as he darted down the road.
Vali grunted and pivoted to avoid being grabbed from one of the 'walkers' who appeared from behind a car, the fact that it was nighttime was making it difficult to see properly. He needed to find shelter and the sound of gunshots in the distance was not exactly comforting. Deprived of his magic, he only had his skills and his superior stamina and strength. So he ran, deciding on last second to head towards the sound of the gunshots.
He turned down an alley and sprinted onwards, hoping to reach whoever had the guns, in time.
While the horde of zombies shuffled after him.

"Zee undead are singing their song," Doc cooed as he heard the moans of the ones following Vaali. He began walking in that direction without a second thought, reloading his gun as he did and also pulled a grenade out of one of the apothecary satchels strapped to his body. It was painted bright yellow and had a black smiley face on it.

"Yeah, I'm getting tired of hearing it too." She grumbled, following after him. Though she didn't really understand him some of the time, Selene decided he wasn't too entirely insane. Looking around as they headed toward the mob of groaning undead, she found a jackpot. A machete. Reaching down and grabbing it, she could tell it had been well used, but was still in good shape. Though it wasn't exactly a killing tool like the gun the man had, it still could cause some damage. She did however keep the bat she had. It could be used as a killing tool. She would surely turn some heads. Selene smiled at the thought.

He pulled the pin on the smiley face grenade and threw it into the zombies behind Vaali.
"Time for fun!" a small speaker inside of it said and then it exploded, incinerating most of the zombies and killing several others. A few pieces of shrapnel would land in Vaali's back.

Jordan could hear the gunshots coming from a couple of blocks away one after another meaning to him that the person was either pin or just another nut case having fun in this now lawless world, he figured that he person would die regardless and if hes dead then there should be supplies near by. Jordan swings the broken broom stick handle and begins walking towards the gunshots which have ended making him walk faster and carefully not to bring attention to himself.

"Please have food" Jordan said coming into sight of the zombie massacre seeing a girl and a Russian old man.
