Doc laughed wildly as the grenade exploded, "Oh Vhat Wunderbar fun!" he laughed and pet the fox cub in his arms, letting his rifle swing to his side again.

(There's no way to tell Doc's age... Reading character descriptions is always a good idea. Also, he's German, not Russian.)

Vali lifted his head and spied the two who were at the end of the alley, two mortals but they were armed and apparently aiming for the horde that followed him. He grunted and picked up the speed, ducking low to avoid being hit by stray bullets. The roar of the grenade the German threw was met with a growl from the god-child as he rushed past Selene and the Doc, skidding to a halt with his knives in hand. They were ordinary kitchen knives to be exact, weapons he had picked up in a hurry.
"This is not the place to fight off the beasts," he panted, "Come on, before we get cornered. I have no plans on dying today." The young man wheezed and started to jog towards the end of the alley and back out into the street. Pausing to look back to see if they were following.
"We need to find shelter!"

She followed after him thinking that he may have a place to stay. As she ran, Selene knocked out several of the zombies that followed him. "Do you know a place that is?" She yelled after him. Her bt made another sickening thud at the back of a zombie's head.

Despite his insanity, Doc wanted to survive, if only for Keera. He followed after the two, Seemingly walking at the speed the we're running, keeping up with ease.

Vali darted around some zombies, throwing one of his knives into the eyesocket of one and the other into the throat of its friend. Now he was out of weapons. He darted down the block and up a fire-escape, nimbly pulling himself up and kneeling down to offer a hand. "On a roof, if we board up all other means of access, we should be safe." He would help Selene and Doc up without issue, as if they weighed nothing. One of the perks of being an Asgardian.
"Come on, up further." He muttered and climbed the stairs onto a roof of an old apartment building, leaping over the ledge and landing on the concrete. Thankfully there seemed to be no zombies but there was a single doorway that led down into the building.
"We will have to block that door and search it in the morning."

Doc required no help getting up the ladder and it seemed like he was actually just walking up it since he used no hands, using one to hold Keera and the other throwing one smiley face grenade after the other.
Upon reaching the other roof, he pulled a cup of steaming liquid and a straw seemingly out of nowhere and started sipping it through one of the filters in his gasmask but it didn't stay in for long since he had no actual cheeks and he had issue drinking most anything.
"Zis has been a beautiful day," he sang between sips, "It's a beautiful day in zee neighborhood, a Wunderbar day in zee neighborhood," he sang again an thee the cup over his shoulder, the hot contents spilling out as it went over the edge.

She let him help her up the ladder and helped block door. Then she sat against a wall and looked at the two that sat in the room. The 'insane' man, which she had started to call him, was singing in his own little world as for the other she had no clue. Selene on the other hand sat in silence keeping as much calm in herself as she could. Panic was not one of her good suits and she prefer it stayed that way. Waiting till morning after they were all rested to search behind that door sounded like a good idea. When they were refreshed and recovered. More prepared than they were now to be on guard for whatever may lie down those stairs. For now she yawned and leaned her head against the wall, getting ready to do just that, sleep.

As night fell, Eliza was still on the run.

She had seen the others dissapear into the building, but as she was on the other side of the street, there was no way she could reach them. The 17-year-old girl had managed to get on the roof through a fire escape, but the zombies were still after her. She had made the mistake that they were unable to use stairs, but she had been wrong. A mistake she had learned the hard way.

The only reason she was still alive was her blade. She smirked. "One advantage for being homeless? You can keep your weapons better hidden." she mumbled.
A door in front of her suddenly opened and five zombies bursted through. Eliza scowled and pulled the blade free from the sheath on her back. She waited for the first to reach her, then burst forwards. All five of the zombies fell within seconds, their screams filling the night-time air. Eliza closed the door again and barricaded it. She'd be safe enough here, for now.

"I hear zee zombies singing their death song," Doc sang and started moving in the directions of the screams, having evidently forgotten about Selene and Vaali. He walked Briskly, Keera in one arm and his assault rifle in the other.
It took him about 15 minutes before finally reaching Eliza's location. He looked at the five dead zombies then kicked down the door and the objects behind it with one powerful kick, shouting, "I have a special delivery for zee local zombie killer!"

Eliza swirled around and unsheathed her blade in one fluent motion. She was ready to charge when she realized the newcomer was no zombie. He was human, and a very strange one. She relaxed her stance but didn't sheathe her sword yet.

The gas masked man looked at the young girl curiously and let his gun fall to his side, "Such young flesh. I am surprised you managed to survive," he commented. The fox cub in his arms surmised a bit to get into a more comfortable position then looked curiously at the girl.

"The last person I faced made the mistake of thinking the same," she replied. "Don't underestimate me because of my age."

"I no, I am not underestimating you, surprised is all. It's very hard to surprise and insane man," Dic commented then laughed maniacally.
Keera managed to wriggle out of his arms and she padded up to Eliza an sniffed her.

Eliza sheathed the blade. "You're weird." she just said. Then she kneeled and looked at the fox. "Hello there!"

"Pfft, veird is an understatement girl. I'm vhat most call insane," he chuckled.

Keera wagged her tail and placed her paws on Eliza's knees, giving a friendly lick to her face. Having been raised by Doc all of her short life, she had no fear of humans and any that didn't wind up immediately dead because of her master she assumed were people worth giving a kiss.

Eliza smiled at the young fox's showing of affection.

"Insane? I guess i'll find out soon enough." she smiled slightly. "Were you with the group I saw earlier?"

"Yah," he nodded although he had no idea if it was his group she had seen. "Zey are encamped on see top of an apartment complex," he informed.
Keera Tried scrambling up and into Eliza's lap, pawing gently at her chest.

Eliza picked the small fox up and petted her as she rose. "Allright then, lead the way, mister 'insane'."
