Eliza looked the grenade over and frowned. She tossed it back over to him. "Crazy bastard."

"Highly uncalled for language, Miss Eliza," Doc shook his finger at her, "You don't hear me calling you a crazy bitch, do you? Nope," he was grinning behind his gasmask, "Besides, I am going to be zee reason Ve all survive. You may have swords, but Vhat good vill Zat do in zee event of a massive horde? Absolutely nosing."

"And what will your weapon do in close encounters, or in a building?" Sh then grinned. "You haven't seen me use my blade.No horde will touch me."

"That is why I have this baby" An mp5 was slung over his shoulder "great mobility for fast escapes and always carry around a silencer" he also had a backpack carrying food, water and enough ammo to last him 20 raids.

"A gun works in all situations, also," he flicked a switch on the bottom of his AUG and a small flame sputtered to life on an attachment. He pulled the trigger lightly and a few bursts of flames shot out of the under barrel flamethrower, "I have fire power... And zis," he flocked the attachment off and let the gun swing to his side.
Doc grabbed two large Bowie knives from shears on his hips and twirled them expertly then threw one with enough force and accuracy that it pinned a newspaper that was flying around to a metal telephone pole, "And I can use zem in hand to hand combat," he laughed and grabbed the knife from the pole.

"Why are you guys so over-prepared? Did you know this would happen?" It was sarcasm, of course, but she was curious of how she got this much weapons and ammo.

"Vell... I didn't know it vould happen, but I had zis much ammunition before zee apocalypse. I raided a military storehouse and got my munitions. I used to vork as a mercenary during my periods of lucidity."

Shawn rubbed the back of his head and gave them a goofy smile "well uhh, I keep an armoury in all of my hotels, banks and stores I own... Can never have enough protection ya know?"

The girl simply watched as the group walked over to where she and the so-called "Doctor" were. She was happy no one took much notice of her. She preferred to keep it that way. Hiding behind the doctor's easily bigger body, she simply watched as the other survivors talked about weapons.

Why do all of these people seem to take pride in killing those things? It doesn't seem enjoyable at all...

Eliza actually took no pride in killing them at all. They were once human, after all, and (most of them) not bad-willed. However, she wasn't going to come over as weak.

"And who is this?" she asked, as she noticed the girl behind Doc.

There is no pride to he taken in killing zombies. It's the fact that he needs to survive and that is his main rule survival of the fittest

"Hello, I'm Chris" he said smiling at Jane

Jane winced when Eliza noticed her. Stepping out from behind the doctor, she forced a smile and barely made eye contact. Her face remained pointed at the ground.

"Hi. I-I'm... I'm Jane..." Her arms were crossed over her chest in a defensive posture. She obviously didn't trust anyone much.

"She is very unique medical anomoly," Doc commented after the introduction and gently stroked one of her wings.
"Niceties aside, I vould like everyone to pay attention for only a brief moment."

Jane shivered as the doctor stroked her wing. She didn't like anyone to touch her. Especially her wings, which had spent a very long time being touched.

Her eyes didn't meet anyones' gaze, but she was paying as close attention to the doctor as anyone.

He reached into a pocket on his jacket, one of the few that didn't hold any cartridges and pulled out a photo that had been neatly folded. He unfolded to reveal a rather handsome man standing next to a woman of equal appearance standing in front of a beach. The man was about a head taller than the woman and well built. His hair was dirty blonde and his eyes were a vivid shade of green. The woman, whose shoulder the mans arm was on, had long brown hair and a curvy figure as well as beautiful blue eyes.
"I ask only Zat if anyvun has seen zis woman, zey vould tell me... I no longer remember who she is... Or if Zat man is me, but I vould like to know," Doc said and quickly folded the picture up again. If anyone had a sharp enough eye, they'd be able to catch a bit of writing on it that Doc had never seen.

Eliza was first to notice the writing. "What's that? she said, pointing it out.

"Vhat's vhat?" he raise a non-existant eyebrow behind his mask.

Chris didn't see it at first until Eliza pointed it out "that writing" placing his finger directly above the small text "right here..."

Doc took the photo out of his pocket and unfolded it, his eyes scanning the writing and then he made a choking sound and beat at his chest with a fist a few times, "I-I'm sorry about Zat..." he coughed, "I..."

Chris grew suspicious "what did it say? i didn't get a good enough look"
