This is for people like me who can't figure out how a glitch works. I am trying to figure out how to make a hoik loop go down. This is WITHOUT wooden (glass or obsidian, if you got it.) platforms on the 3DS version. This forum should help some people out.

Little bit of a sad spoiler... I learned that the Terra Blade exploit is a lie. Its identified by the duck at the title of the life hack. If you'll notice, all other ducks are Mallards and the tips really work, but the Terra Blade one is labled with a red duck, meaning this is a joke and not really a thing. 
Speaking of Hoiks though... here's something I think is truely relivant.
