rose came around the corner of her house "Well this is where I live, see ya tomorrow."

"Bye." Justin smiled at her. He walked back the direction they had came as he waved at her.

Rose waved quickly and ran inside being greeted by Rei her small black cat.

Rose walked into her second period class when Ashley the most popular girl in the school and her clique of blond friends swarmed around her. The sub paid no attention to them, she was to busy texting. "So,I saw you hanging out with my boyfriend yesterday." Ashley sneered. "I thought you broke up with, besides he's just my friend nothing else." "I broke up with him okay!" Ashley yelled punching Rose in the face. "Besides who would want to be your friend?" Rose forced herself not to cry and tried to sound confident "He's my friend because he chose to be." Rose said her voice cracking slightly. Ashley laughed before socking Rose in the face again and ripping out her piercings, leaving blood to flow down her ear. "Stay away from Justin, unless you want to be beat up like this everyday, do you?" Rose shook her head before quickly taking her seat. At the end of class Rose quickly ran out, heading for the exit door instead of lunch. She covered her black eye with her hair but couldn't do anything about the bloody ear.

Justin managed not to get slammed into by Rose. He blinked before going after her.

Rose hadn't notised him, she ran outside to the same tree tears flowing down her face.

"Rose?" Justin walked over to her.

"What?" Rose growled not sounding like her usual self.

"Are you okay?" He caught a glimpse of her bloody ear.

Rose twitshed her ear "Yeah, I'm fine but you should probally go..."

"No way. Your bleeding."

"Go!" Rose said with such power she scared herself.

Justin flinched." Okay." He walked away.

"No wait... I need to tell you something." Rose lifted her head to look at him, the hair falling out of the way exposing her black and bloody eye.

Justin quickly walked back over to her." That looks like it hurts."

"Yes...it does kinda hurt but that doesn't really matter right now.)

Justin looked at her." What do you want to say?"

"You have to stay away from me and we can't be friends anymore."

"Why? If it was Ashley..." Justin trailed off as anger filled him.
