Situated in a world where elemental powers are common, there is a facility named Elemental Combat Organization (pronounced as 'ECHO'.). They offer all sorts of training for human elementalists. Each character must find their own way to complete training at a facility. Chances are, if you don't attend the training sessions.. you'll be hunted by power-hungry demons when the mission orb accidentally transfers you back to Earth.
8 teens have been split into 3 teams for training: Adelaide, Dylan and Brenna as Team A; Leigh and Khara as Team B; Alex, Natalie and Arianna as Team C. These three teams would be the dorm arrangements as well. Each group is expected to work together towards their goal.
Prophecies (aka goals) will be interpreted at a later date.
Alex Exodus is temporarily inactive.
Adelaide woke up to the sound of birds chirping, staring at her cream-colorer covers in dismay. She had arrived at the ECO headquarters just a week before her school year on Earth, and she was beginning to regret leaving her home-planet for such a lonely and deserted place. Reaching over for her alarm clock, the female began to countdown to ten as she mentally prepared herself for the morning bell. She looked over to her right and found an empty bunk. It had the name Dylan engraved on it, and she couldn't help but wonder if she was expecting a new roommate today.

Almost complete... Silence. Another way to start my day...
Khara gave a rather quiet yawn, as she sat up, her hair rather messy, and faint, black circles on her eyes. The girl was still in a sleepy daze, as she gave a small stretch. Blinking rapidly for a few moments, Khara unblurred her fogged vision, as she stared at the vicinity once more. The girl glanced over at a clock, the unsettling ticking ringing in her ears. Yawning once more, her feet touched the cold ground, as she stood.
First things first.. get ready.
Khara took one last glance at the clock, and rushed around the area, attempting to quickly prepare herself for the long day ahead.

Arianna woke up, yawning. She rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. Arianna sat up, and started to get ready in silence. She put her hair up in a small bun, a little difficult with her short hair, but she managed. Ari was one of the younger people there, only being 15, but that only gave her more a reason to prove herself.
Natalie woke up with a jolt at the sound of her alarm clock, as she wasnt psrticularly used to it. Her old school started quite late, so she mever felt the need to use one.
“Five more minutes...” she mumbled to nobody. She hit the snooze button, but five minutes later it began yelling at her again. She glared at it as she threw off her blankets and swung her legs over her bed. She padded towards her full-length mirror and began undoing her long braids. “New school, new me.”

Leigh wakes to several sounds. He is so used to the silence of his soundproofed apartment that this unfamiliar din stirs him quite quickly. He sits up as his roommate, Khara is his memory serves him, rises and begins to get ready hurriedly. It isn't until his silver eyes find the glowing clock face that he understands her rush.
He swings his legs over the side of the bed, flinging the blankets off of his slender body. Leigh stands, stretching his back and listening as it cracks in several spots. He is not ever one to rush, more one to accept lateness, but he knows that he needs to make a good impression here. With that in mind, he begins to locate clothes for the day; the ones he dons are dark jeans and a t-shirt with the faded words Future Corpse down the front.

Brenna wasn't accostumed to the sound of an alarm clock. She rarely did things on schedule and preferred the freedom of her own wims. She hated the rigorous rhythms of the modern person, and now she had to follow them.
She rolled over so her back faced her room and roommates, deciding she could sleep, or at least pretend to, for a little bit longer.

It was time, she thought, as she dressed herself in a black tank top that had the band name Evanescence on it, reaching for a pair of ruffled black pants and leggings next. Fastening a brown belt to her waist, she began to pin some herb gathering tools onto the belt.
Looking over at Brenna as she packed up her daily supplies, the young female felt herself grimace. She was not looking forward in training with new trainees. No one knew what they were supposed to do and she wouldn't get enough focus on practicing her shots. She stuffed the box of dried fruit into her bag harsher, fully aware that she was acting irrational. As much as she loved the freedom ECO provided her in their training schedule, she didn't like the way she had to compete for extra training.
Today's schedule consisted of introductions and some light-weight duelling between assigned partners, as well as the gruelling task of finding sacred herbs from the mountain before them. `Ranger`, an agent in the ECO household, had been promised to watch over (read: babysit) them for the day. Adelaide admired her as much as she loved the program, but she didn't want to be seen as a 'hero-worshiper'.
Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Adelaide strapped her sack to her waist belt and ran out the door, determined to reach the mess hall in time.

Having not arrived before that day, Dylan had been brought to the facility that morning, in time for the breakfast. Having gotten there before Adelaide, he looked around for a moment before seeing the girl rush in. He had a vague idea of what went on at the facility, having picked up bits and pieces of information on the way over. He had a feeling, once he got involved with the programs here, that he would get to know the purpose of the facility. Pushing the thoughts from his head, he raised a hand in greeting to the girl who had just ran into the mess hall. Walking over to her, he extended his hand. "Good morning," he said. "I'm Dylan. What's your name?" He asked.
She stopped mid-run, turning around slowly. Her hair whipped in the wind and caught her left eye, causing her to wince a little. A little shear hit her thigh and she mentally cursed at the bout of pain that pierced her left thigh. Straightening up, she nodded at him, looking a little more flustered than usual.
"Adelaide, but sometimes people call me Spark.. Are you new here?"

Khara took a few, quick moments to do everything necessary to get ready. Rapidly brushing her hair, getting dressed, etc. was stressing the 18 year old out already. She rarely had to be in such a hurry, in a matter of mere minutes.
After some time of getting prepared, Khara stared at the clock once more. A little bit of her still panicked when she glanced over, but she felt relieved. There was still enough time to head out. Donning on her usual clothes, Khara immediately rushed over to the door, and flung it open.
She'd beginning to speed walk away, passing by Dylan and Adelaide in doing so. Khara skidded to a quick halt, and uttered a simple "Hello!" before continuing on in her pace. Khara didn't have the time to focus on them for a little while longer, as she went past a clock. Then, the girl froze in place, as she had realized something.
"Shoot! I forgot that schedule thing!"

Ari grabbed her schedule, stuffing it in a pocket, and made her way to the mess hall in silence, not even waving as she passed other trainees. She got her breakfast and sat down at a table, and started to eat.
Leigh collects his things once he's ready, though he doesn't need to do much to prepare for the day. He gazes over his schedule and worries about training. There are few combat-oriented things he can do, as he is just a lanky nineteen-year-old. However, he understands that training is about just that: learning and getting better.
Yanking on his combat boots, he begins to make his way to the cafeteria, where he is bound to meet the others. He hasn't had much time to even introduce himself to his roommate, so breakfast might be a decent time to do so. Leigh smiles and nods his head vaguely at the other trainees as he passes them back, muttering a polite hello before entering the mess hall and heading up for his breakfast.
Feeling out of place, he begins by sitting alone, just watching curiously at the others around him as they enter, too.

Brenna eventually found herself up long after her roommate had gone. She didn't care much about being seen today or any other day, so she kept her outfit casual with leather breeches and a light tunic, adding in a fur vest just in case. She grabbed her satchel, filled with books and her schedule, and headed to the mess hall to eat and read.
It wasn't particularly loud in the cafeteria nor was it wasn't crowded, but Brenna still felt like she was being looked at far more than she was used to. She found a table in the corner to be alone at and opened her most recent novel. She told herself she'd get around to at least learning the other trainees' names, but she wasn't super commited to the idea.
Today was going to be quite the day...

After a few minutes had passed of Khara arriving back at the dorm, and fumbling through her things for the schedule, she'd at last find it. She'd grab a small, leather bag from her things, emptied it, and put the schedule inside, along with a few other items. Khara would then sling the bag over, and gave a calm sigh.
"Alright. Now that I dealt with that, I can have some breakfast."
Khara turned back, and exited the dorm once more. Gently closing the door behind her, the girl would walk in the direction of the cafeteria. Her stomach growling as the minutes passed by, she would reach the cafeteria, somewhat stressed out.
Khara merely glanced around at the few others that were currently inside. She'd then walk over to some trays and lifted one up. Sighing, Khara picked some food to eat, before searching for a table. Another minute passed by, before she sat down at a table close to the door, alone. Her stomach growled again, as she began eating quietly.

Dylan nodded at Adelaide's question. "Yes, I just got here a few minutes ago. How long have you been here?" He asked. Glancing at the other girl who ran past, pausing for a moment, he nodded to her, smiling. At her comment, his brows furrowed slightly. "There was a schedule?" He asked. They must have gotten it when they had arrived, and maybe they hadn't finished with his yet. Looking around, he decided that it was probably a good idea to get some food, soon.
"I've been around for enough time to know what to do. I have the schedule by the way, we can share since we also share a dorm." She looked at the counter of food and grimaced, knowing that the eggs would be overcooked again. She gestured to the coffee machine, "Food's over there. I can hear your belly rumbling from here."
After getting dressed and slipping on her shoes, Natalie grabbed her schedule and bag and was out the door. Her long, curly hair bounced as she speed-walked to the mess hall. When she entered, she was slightly taken aback by the amount of people. She looked around for a minute, before finally settling on the table where Ari was sitting at alone.
"Hi, um, mind if I sit here?" she asked aftfer lightly tapping on the girls shoulder.

“Huh... Ah, no I don’t mind.” Ari replies, moving over a bit to give her room. She takes another bite of her food, it wasn’t that good, but she would need energy for the training today.
“Thanks,” she smiled, sitting down across from her. She started to eat her breakfast, frowning at the foul taste. She would definitely have to start bringing her own food in the future, but for now this was all she had to build up energy for later.
“This food tastes awful,” she complained, covering her mouth with her hand as she spoke, since she was still in the middle of chewing.

Dylan nodded, and started walking toward the aforementioned food. Not knowing what to expect, he made up a plate for himself, adding a cup of coffee to wash it all down with. He sat at a table that was empty, and began to tuck into the breakfast. The others were right; the food wasn't great, but it was edible. The drink wasn't as bad, but it wasn't as good as he had tasted before he came here.
