With the day decaying, the tides were coming in, helping the big vessels reach port and dock safely, it was a time for debauchery and merry making, many a brigand boasting of their foul deeds.
Everyone who was anyone was among the most renounced and feared pirates had finally arrived the celebrate their ill gotten goods that came from pillaging villages, ports, merchant and slaver ships.
A young man stood at a market stall. He was a average, dark man. Between brown eyes, and black hair, he was nothing out of the ordinary. He was talking with a small, beetle-like man with pale skin, and big eye that obviously had to be bigger than his stomach, given his emaciated appearance.
The man's wife stood behind him, bouncing their baby girl in her arms. The red-haired woman had doeish look to her. Those big, suspicious brown eyes glanced to David, the young man, on occasion.
"That pendant is very beautiful, don't you think?" She asked in that sweet, lullaby voice of hers. "I bet any girl you might have waiting at home would love it," She sighed.
David chuckled softly, "My mother would love it," He said simply. He looked over the pretty little amethyst thing. It was beautifully cut, and on a silver chain. David knew his mother would love it, but he doubt he could buy it.
"Oh, I bet she would," the woman cooed. "Maybe you should get it for her? It's a bit pricey," David quickly became less interested, "but we could definitely cut a sweetheart like you a deal," She said.
David looked up with a faint smile, and looked to the man.
The main sighed and nodded, "It's eighty now, but maybe we could lower it to fifty?" He murmured, scratching the back of his head.
David gasped. That was a steal in his eyes! He smiled and agreed to buy it. He gave them a goodbye, and left with the pedant. He didn't do much thinking as he walked into a tavern, deciding that he would get something to drink real quick.

Inside said tavern was a loud girl, with bright green hair. By the way she was acting it was obvious she was very drunk, she giggled childishly and took another sip of whatever drink she had. She had three men sitting next to her, clearly just as drunk. And she was attempting to give them and her drink equal attention. She laughed anytime someone opened their mouth. Her laugh was loud and echoed, but still was feminine.

Navy blue eyes scanned the mere humans that were walking around the market, little children were clinging to their parents as they gazed upon the marvelous things being sold. Though sadly the Nymph only tsked at all those who were free, and home. For sadly, she was banned from ever returning home to her family and her kind.
Dark red hair flowed in the wind as the siren sat upon a rock, debating on wether to lure an innocent male to her rock, to did him of all his belongings and drag him to the bottom of the deep ocean. But, sadly she was convinced otherwise by her mermaid friend, who stared to their nymph friend standing upon land.

Ah, but, see... The tavern wasn't just for socializing and boasting. It was also a place of opportunity. Loud pirates drunk off of their behinds who had just come back from scoring some treasure? Who's to say they weren't carrying some of their find around with them? Perhaps it was a dirty move to pickpocket a pirate... But if they are already intoxicated by alcohol (and, to some extent, their own unending hubris), why shouldn't she at least try? This would be fun... More likely for us than for her, because if someone catches her, she's dead.
David eyed green-haired girl. He thought she was odd, but was attracted to her nonetheless. David didn't know how to approach her, though, and she seemed busy already. He ordered a drink and sat nearby. He sipped his drink and chuckled at her, and then watched the rest of the Tavern will mild interest.
She finished her drink up, and ordered another. The bartender was slightly reluctant to give her another, but she seemed to have plenty of money to spare on drinks. One of the men was talking about the unusual shade of her hair, to which the belched and responded. "Just like my old mummy used t'say...." She paused to belch again. "'Undyne, yer hair is like, like," she stumbled for her words. "Like a lime."
Hah... Perfect target! Cassandra made her way over to the green-haired woman, but did not approach her. Instead, she sat nearby, where Cassandra could see the target, but the target couldn't see Cassandra. She wanted to eavesdrop to make sure this woman had something worth taking. If she did, she was the perfect target.
David watched the green-haired woman with a quiet, interested smile. He heard bits and pieces of her conversation, but didn't really make too much of a point to listen into what she was saying.
She laughed once more, and half listened to what the man on her left was saying, and half considered how many more drinks she could have before she passed out. Probably not many, and she was slightly aware of that, but not a lot. She didn't notice the people watching her. Her senses were so dulled.

The dark haired Nymph started to debate whether or not she should go to the now bustling tavern. She knew it was risky, but it was the perfect place for her to be able to steal some sort of something.
“Hm. Oh what the heck, we can protect ourself.” The Nymph hummed then huffed before striding over to the tavern. Silently she skipped inside the big building that was full of drunken pirates. “Now, to find my prey.” She whispered, dark blue eyes started to fart around, looking for a good place to start.

Reign walked in with Marco behind her as the headed towards an empty table in the back of the room.
She put her hat on the table in front of her as she sat down. She reverted back to her native tongue (Dutch) and in a lowered voice she spoke , "There's more rapscallions in here than usual."
A bar maid came up, "What can I getcha?"
"A cup," she pulled a bottle of banana liquor from a large pocket inside her coat. "He'll take a whiskey."
The barmaid walked away.
Marco turned his attention to his Captain and nodded, "Thank you, Reign. Old friend, when next do we sail?"
"I know not, the wind hasn't whispered to me. The ship needs repairs," she set her bottle down as a cup was set before her by another bar maid.

David pulled the pendent out his pocket. He looked over the pretty purple thing and wondered about it's authenticity. He tapped the jewel with his nail. He looked around the tavern and sighed softly. He pocketed the pendent and leaned back in his seat.
She attempted to take a drink of her alcohol, most spilled down the front of her dress, she seemed unaware of it. He rested her arms on the bars counter, and looked around. Now she was quite bored with these men. She was looking for someone else to talk with. Her coffee colored eyes scanned the bar.

Dark navy eyes darted over to bright green hair. Those eyes soon took upon a confused look at the girl. A strong smell of the sea seemed to be floating off of her, into the surrounding air. Navy hair flowed as the Nymph shook her peachy skinned head.

David sipped his drink and accidentally made eye contact with the drunken siren. His face flushed lightly and he glanced away. He felt like that was rude. Would she be angry if he was staring? David knew that he'd be somewhat bothered by strangers staring at him. He took another drink and hoped she didn't actually notice.
She sure did notice he was watching her, and she got up and sat across from him. Hopefully he was more interesting than those other men. "Hi," she said, with a drunken giggle. "Haven't seen you 'round here before... Are you new?" She asked, trying to raise a eyebrow but making a odd face and a fool of herself.
One would think that matters were business as usual in the kingdom, this port city and its lower end tavern, but that was far from fact and truth, as more ships arrived the masters of the seas came to tavern to clash with their known long standing rivals, not by means of arms as often was the case, but by means of daring bets and challenges of brains and endurance rather than brawns. Though scuffles would likely happen when renouned pirates of their callibre met in such a small modest space.
"Move yerself ye scallywags! Make way for capt'n Teach!" barked Blackbeard in his booming imposing voice. He had a mind to raid this city too but no, his coffers were full, his men were keen on trying the rum and this was the last port left before the large oceans expanded before them, some merrymaking and ample amounts of mead would cheer the crews enough to do a good job.
Not long before Edward Teach had docked his ship, Calico Jack and Sir Henry Morgan had beaten him at getting to the port first. Though air was tense between these two rivals.
Calico Jack and Sir Henry Morgan saluted one another, briefly as they crossed paths, all headed to the same bustling tavern, they were known to be rivals for the most part and when need arose they were allies of convenience... at times friends, at times foes.
Edward Teach, often called, captain Blackbeard quickly caught upt to the pair, patting Calico's shoulder "Olde matey... women and rum wait for no man" assured Blackbeard with a broad grin, each of the three captains entered the tavern bringing some trusted well armed men and enough gold to outdo each other if needed be
The high spirits soon become more tense when they entered the tavern to find that captain Domenicus Dimagio was already settled in with his crew having a drink or two
"I didn't think ye be foolish enough to meet at the same place as meself" muttered Dom Dimagio standing up and coming to offer a handshake
"Since you were bold enough to come, let us have peace and merrymake... when we take to the waters, we can see who the better sea dog might be among us" proposed Dom
"We came for a jolly time rather than bloodshed..." explained Dom getting nods and handshakes from the other captains, all agreeing to a very short lived truce among them... or so they thought
Young Calico sat back on a bench to examine in great detail the other patrons who were already at the tavern and clearly not of their own pirates ways, the girl with the green hair caught his eye at the unusal of colour of it, though given she was drunken to stupor she was likely too incohorent for conversation. His eyes then trailed off to the nymph, navy blue eyes and navy hair could only mean that she had come from the sea, and whilst he knew danger was lurking around her, his eyes were equally captivated with her unusual beauty.
Blackbeard glanced at Calico whose eyes were locked on the nymph and jabbed him in the shoulder to make him snap out of it. "Don't set your sights too high for you may get way more than you bargained for... the sea is unforgiving and leaves many a man with a broken heart" warned Blackbeard
Once he had given his friend words of wisdom he scouted the patrons too, skipping the red faced lover, the green haired lass and... yes... indeed... his eyes and attentions set on the opportunist thief among them, Cassandra... that was, in his opinion a clever lass indeed, a quick fingered one that deserved his every attention from then onwards.

“This is place so is so bland. How could anyone enjoy it? Why am I even bothering, I would get that none of these drunken fools have anything valuable on them.” The Nymph spoke, her voice was not too high, nor too low, it was just right. One of the scaly haves of the Nymph went into a folded part of her skirt, soon pulling out a few pieces of gold. A soft sigh escaped her light pink lips.
“I should probably go get the girls so they can enjoy themselves. I just hope Tonia didn’t drown anyone today.” She spoke as her body started to turn towards the door, until she was blocked by a man nearly twice her size.
“Where do you think you’re going lass?” The man spoke, his breath stunk of booze and it made the Nymph gag. “No way is a pretty lil thing like you goin’ out there alone.” A smirk grew upon his lips, causing the girl to growl and try to find something to defend herself with. Now she was really regretting not bringing in her trident in its miniature form.
