“Sit.” She’d smile, “Same here. Fun fact, my father is actually and ancient Egyptian god. Anubis, the jackal.” She’d smile. “Your father must’ve been very powerful with ice.”

Ari smiles and sits beside Farrah, taking a bite of food while she listens to their conversation.

Corrine smiled , “That’s awesome. My dad is moderately powerful I guess, he tried to teach me but couldn’t, so I went sent here instead.”

Alabaster tried to poke Raven "Are ya down?"

Matt

"You know, I really don't exactly know where my powers came from." I thought on that. "They've kind of always seemed to be with me. Maybe they were developed by spending time finding myself in nature. I honestly can't put my finger on it." I admitted. I saw someone knew come sit at the table next to Farrah. I gave her a smile. "Hi," I said simply. I knew Anthony would do introductions, it's something he loves.

Anthony

"Hmm. My abilities came from my lineage I believe. It's been passed down from father to son from generation to generation. Only the males in my family have had it." After a few bites more of food, I saw another woman sit at our table. She appeared more bird-like. "How do you do? My name is Anthony," he gestured over to me. "..and this is my friend Matt" Matt gave a nod to the sound of his name and a small wave.

“I’m great, thanks! Arianna Matthews.” Ari replies, giving a small wave back. She continued eating her food.

“That’s Miss Matthews to you students” She’d smile, “You May call me Miss Jackal.” She’d give a grin

Matt

I think it's very good to have the teachers be down to Earth with the students . I stood up. "A toast. To friendship, new beginnings and most of all, a good year." I sipped my water and sat down and started to eat my food.

Anthony

"Pleasure to meet you both!" I said enthusiastically. I listened to Matt's toast then sipped when he did.

"Well, if ya gonna be the silent and stoic type, I might as well leave, do you want me to leave?" Alabaster asked Raven.

Ari chuckles and raises her glass, taking a drink of the water inside for the toast. She continued to eat.

She didn't say a word. "Just remember that I will be there for ya". He popped from Ravens location to the mess halls teachers table. "I hope you saved some scraps for me". Hector handed him a plate with boiled tomatos, pork strings, and a pile of grated cheese. Alabaster were delighted over the meal.

Matt

I ate silently. I wondered if there would be any other non-cooking classes. I also wondered what kind of classes will be right for me. I'm a knight, not a magician. I can use magic to my advantage, but I don't actively rely on it. Emotions and thoughts raced through my head. Now I really hoped there would be other classes that didn't revolve around magic. I just have to remember Anthony is for sure by my side. I'm quite surprised he's not chatting up all the ladies here. He was quite the ladies man back when I saw him last.

Anthony

I finished up my meal, killed the last of my milk and wiped off my hands and then mouth. I put my silverware on my plate an sat back, waiting for others to finish their meals. "So..Ms. Matthews. What exactly do you teach here?" I asked. "If you I don't believe I've ever heard you say," I asked with a curious smile.

Ren finished her set up and knew some people were headed to the lunchroom.”I’m going to the lunch room. Would you like to come with me?” She asked Raven.

Hoggens knew it was time to eat. Finishing up setting for school he stood from his desk and headed to the lunch room. When he got there he grabbed a tray and got in line.

Ari looked up at him. “Ah, I teach how to properly shoot and aim. I’m pretty skilled with my craft.” She says, obviously pationate about the subject.

Riba stood up and greeted the mighty man called Hoggens. "So you finally came down from your pillar, huh?" She jokingly said.

Hoggens looked behind him.”Now Riba you know I’m married.” He joked back with her. She had a crush on him when they were younger.

Anthony

"Excellent news. Accuracy is a valuable trait to have. How are you with a sword though?" My eyes flicked over to Matt quickly then back to her.

Matt

I stopped eating for a second but then decided not to reveal my favoritism to physical combat by saying anything. I kept eating.

"Ofcourse I know, I was your best "Man" at the wedding after all, remember?"
