Athena walked through the door. "Thank you." she said smiling. She moved her head, looking around.

Carden smiled and walked into the restaurant.”Well... what do you think?” He asked her.

"It's amazing." She smiled.

Carden smiled. A waitress walked to them. Carden told her it was them and then they were seated at a both. She handed some ice water to both of them.”Is there any beverages you would like?” She asked them. Carden looked at Athena to let her go first.

Matt

"Wow. My mother had a small garden, and after she adopted me, we made the perfect duo. I'd relax in a tree and she'd tend to her plants. It was quite the lovely place."

Yuri nodded. “At least you have or had a family.” She said.

“You’re adopted?” Corrine asked, cuddling into Matt a bit more.

“No no it’s fine. I was an orphan till they paid for me to go here.” She said.

Matt

I nodded. "My parents were killed when I was young, and so I lived a majority of my life on the streets I grew to love." I frowned slightly. "My adoptive mother took me under her wing despite me being a poor little heathen boy and her, a rich, elegant woman."

Corrine wrapped her arms around Matt, “At least you had someone to love and care for you, a lot of people don’t get to be that lucky.”

Matt

I smiled and gave her a quick nod. "You're right." I held her back. "Our parents may be gone now, but we do have each other for support." I thought back again. "I was only with her for about a year anyway. It was the year that made me...me." I shook my head. "What about your parents? Who were they? What did they do?"

“Mine are still alive, although they aren’t really together anymore. My mom didn’t work, she would stay at home with me. I don’t know what my dad did, but I know he was important, and made enough money to buy my mom and I whatever we desired. They split up awhile ago, I guess the stress of raising a magic child finally got to my mom, but I know she loves me.” She responded, looking up at the sky. It was dark now, but the stars have yet to show themselves.

Matt

"My adoptive mother was royalty, and had yet to find a husband. In fact, I don't think she had ever found one." I sighed. People don't usually believe my stories, but I always tell them the truth. My history is so complicated, without Anthony's family to keep track of me, I would get lost myself. "I'm sorry your parents split up. I suppose magic would be a wedge in a relationship," I said, giving her a kiss on the forehead. "especially to those unfamiliar with it.
