Ari walked into the mess hall, late as usual and got some eggs, fruit, and coffee. She sat at an empty table, enjoying the hot drink, her wings had been retracted into her back.
"It ist. Red grandor tree's are sentient to a certain point of a thinking"
Hector sat down by Arianna. He just had a cup of black coffee. Around his waist were bandages. "What do you think I should let the students dive into, the power of will, or how to fix one's mind with being present in oneself?" He asked her.
Ari thought for a minute. “You should probably start out easier- basic stuff, jump into the big things once they understand that.,” She says, “what happened to your waist?” She asks a bit quieter, noticing the bandages.
He woke up in his office chair. He noticed he was still in the office. He stood up and walked to the lunch room. He grabbed a tray and got some eggs toast bacon and other things with a side of coffee two cream and three sugars.
Hector nodded "You see, I was out in the woods taking a walk, when this great boar suddenly attacked me. It drove it's tusks into my guts. To get it of me, I had to stab it in it's eye. Then it ran off"
Corrine walked through the garden, and found the same bench she had sat on the day before. She sat down, breathing deeply.
“You sure you want to teach?” Ari asks, wincing just hearing about it. She takes a drink of her coffee.
"I have been on the brink of death, and I would still be cracking jokes, this is just a minor setback"
After getting his food he sat at the table with Hector and Ari.”Hey you two.” He said starting to eat.
"Morning, Hoggens" Hector took a long sip of his coffee.
Ari chuckles a bit. “Alright.” She says nodding. “Anyway, I think I’m going to head into town, maybe help with the festival preparations,” she shrugs and stands up, grabbing her plate, “Don’t torture the students.” She says, putting away her plate and walking out of the mess hall.
Corrine sat with her legs crossed on the bench, and held up her hand, letting a snowflake dance through the air, the same trick she had shown Ember the day before.
"I will not, I care about this job after all"
Ari smiles and walks outside, spotting Corrine in the garden. She walks over, curious why she was alone. “What are you doing out here alone?” She asks, sitting next to her.
Corrine let the snowflake disappear and smiled at Arianna. “I just like sitting alone sometimes, and this garden reminds me of my home.”
Ari smiled. “You excited for your first class? I hear it’s with Miss Farrah.” She says.
He chuckled and nodded.”Yeah you would be fired if we heard anything about you torturing a student.” He said sipping his coffee.
Corrine nodded, “At first I didn’t want to be here, my parents made me come, but now I’m excited to start classes and to learn some new things.”
Ren nodded.”So you like the plants on earth too?” She asked him.
