I grimaced when I looked at the corpse. "Why does your culture care about preservation after death? Where I come from we'd bury our dead." I asked.
Anthony
I found this particularly fascinating. Something about it seemed very interesting to me, although I didn't know what.

Corrines eyes widened as she stared down at the corpse.
Ember looked at the corpse, a little confused of what they were going to do with it, but it intrigued her none-the-less.
“I have no idea.” She’d snicker . The bandages slowly unwrapped themselves. Revealing a man with pale white skin. “This man has been dead for a few centuries now and as you can see, he hasn’t decayed. My own work actually. You shall be doing something very similar. But on something much more smaller.” She’d smile, the coffin and corpse disappearing. As they turned, on each desk there would be a rabbit, alive and well. “Please go to your desks. I want you now to preserve this creature from decaying. Corrine this should be a rather easy task for you.” She winked, she flicked her wrist and suddenly the rabbits had died. “Do not worry, I’ll revive them next month after we see our results of preserving corpses.” She smiled, “Chop chop.”
Hector walked around the school, looking for Arianna, until he finally found her. "Hey Ari" He said behind her.

I had a look of disgust on my face. Even though they'll be resurrected later, it was still crude. I sighed and got back to my desk. I fiddled around for a while. I'd try and fail several times to get this rabbit preserved. "Ugh. I need help" I raised my hand.
Anthony
This was a pretty cool assignment, the immersiveness of it all was impressive. I nodded in satisfaction as I finished mummifying my rabbit. Not something I'd want to do with a human, but I suppose this is a necessary thing to know.

Ren shocked at the dead bunny and a bit sad. She didn’t want to do that but if it was going to help the dead creature she might as well. She wanted to be a bit funny and hopped to her desk. She saw the dead creature and started to wrap it up.
Celes smiled. She didn’t like the sights of death at all which was weird for a demon. She took a seat next to Anthony.”This should be fun.” She said to him. She started her work but messed up a few times.
“Huh? Oh, hey Hector.” Ari says, turning around. “What do you need?” She asks.
Corrine smiled at the task, this would be simple. She walked up to her rabbit and gently laid her hand on it, closing her eyes and breathing slowly. She avoided the outside of the rabbit for now, instead focusing on the inside. She covered the inside of the rabbit in a layer of ice, making sure everything was completely covered to prevent any bacteria from growing inside. Next she covered the outside of the rabbit with a thin layer of ice, easy enough to melt but to still preserve the rabbit.
Ember walked over to her desk, not really sure what do do with it, she knew they used to use spices, but she assumed that Farrah meant to do it with magic.
"I'm planning for the class to go to the Harvest festival on friday, and I need another teacher to keep track of the students, can you come?"
Ari nods. “Yeah, I’d love to.” She says, smiling. She had already planned on going, and this gave her even more of a reason to go.
Corrine looked around at the rest of the class, unsure of what to do now that she was finished.
Hector smiled by the sound of the yes. "Oh that's great. What are you excited for at the festival, for me it's the fireworks. You?"
Ren took out a flower pedal that would keep the bunny from having diseases or any other nasty things. She then finished her wrapping. She saw that she was the second one done with the assignment.
She walked over to Matt and sighed, “Not the best subject right?” She’d pull a lemon from underneath the desk and basically marinate the bunny in lemon. “Just finish the wrapping and your done. I’ll finish it off tonight.” She walked around the room approving of everyone’s mummification. “Well done everyone! Class dismissed.” She smiled.
Corrine walked over to Matt, “Did you want to go to the garden? You look like you need some fresh air.”
“I’m excited for the food.” She says, it had always tasted so good and fresh, since usually harvest it and cook it in the same day.
"There will also be a dance. I have seen that some of the students have taken a liking to each other"
