“I j-just remember getting so.. angry.” Ember says, her hands clenched. “I-It always feels like it’s the right thing to do... like it will be better afterwards.” She adds hesitantly.

He nodded"interesting"

“Asteroth teleports gets another apple then teleports back to Ren” do you like apples Ren? I would eat the worlds supply of apples because they are so delicious.

Ember shudders at the thought. “It’s like someone takes all of the pain away when I’m fully transformed, at the cost of people’s lives.” She says, it was rare for her to open up about this type of stuff.

"So thats why you don't like using your powers"

Ren nodded."I love them but never pick them from trees. It actually hurts trees." she said.

Hmm “Asteroth says as he bits down into the apple” they are like candy to me.

I’m still sorry about earlier with me teleporting in here and you running in to find me eating an apple at a table. “Asteroth looks into Ren’s eyes”

"It's ok." she said smiling.

“I used to be obsessed with using it, I used it nearly everyday in the woods. Until I heard my name being called- screamed in fact. I unshifted, seeing my brother below me, my mouth tasted like blood, and my hands were covered in it as well. My brother was riddled with bite marks, barely had the strength to breath.” Ember says, tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

He sighed"I'm sorry..."

Ember shook her head, pulling her knees against her chest, resting her head on them. “It’s not your fault...” She says.

"Yeah, its your fault"he said and took a bite of his food.

Yuri walked into the mess hall and saw Lucifer in there. She glared at him before grabbing a piece of a brownie and finding a table away from Lucifer.

“Alright then.” She answered Victor, taking another bite of her apple and watching as he loaded his plates.

((A resident fell halfway through my shift and I had to stand there and wait for them to get him back up before I could do anything >.< ))

Ember nods, remaining silent, her ears flattening against her head.

He sat in silence and ate his food

once Victor was done he has seven plates of tres leches cake, three each arm and one on his head "ok, I'm ready" He said with a smile.

((Aww that sucks))

Althea rolled her eyes at Victors plates but laughed. She walked over to an empty table and sat down, taking another bite of her apple.
