Hector walked into his class. It was bland and bleak, so his waved his hand around, and paintings, minor statues, better paint on the walls appeared. Then he stood in the door opening, holding his hand on his bandages. He took a deep breath, and pointed his finger at the ground. Smoke spewed out of it, and tracked down the various students. Hectors formed from the trails. "Class has started" They bowed and said.

Ember stared at the smoke forming on the ground before realizing it was for class. “Ah r-right, we should probably head there.” She says, making her way to Hectors class.

Raven nodded , only slightly giving attention to the girl Ember. She headed to hectors class.

Corrine nodded at the smoke figure and made her way to Hectors class. She arrived and took a seat near the front.

“It’s not just bat related food. It’s other things to.” She said smiling at him finishing her food.

"Then let class commence" Hector said. "Today we will learn about the power of will and confidence, and how they impact your powers. Any questions for the start?"

Corrine looked around the classroom at all the decorations, listening to Hectors lesson.

Ember sits in a seat, this had been one of the main reasons she wanted to join the school. She payed attention to Hector.

Ren sat in a desk. She waited for Hestor to go on.

Raven looked at the teacher curiously. This actually sounded like a fascinating lecture , and she was excited to get started. Could confidence really effect her turning invisible?

"You see the outlet of power, magical or not, is determined by the power of the will" Hector snapped his fingers and smoke poured out "If your will is down, you won't hace much to give of" The fingersmoke shriveled in size. "But if you have will them power grows immensely" The fingersmoke grew stronger and stronger. Then Hector snapped his fingers, returning the smoke to him. "Before we move on, any questions?"

Ember remained silent, intrigued. She had never considered her own lack of confidence was her downfall.

Corrine watched intently, her eyes slightly widening at the intensity and power of the black smoke he was controlling. Could she really become that powerful?

"Well if there isn't any questions, we will move on then" Hector took a deep breath. "Now your confidence will determine your control of your powers, and now the example" Pastel colored smoke slided out of his sleeves. "If your confidence is where it should be, then you shouldn't have any problems doing things like this" The Smoke collected itself into the shape of a tree. A squrrel made of smoke jumped out of it, and sprang between tables. He snapped his fingers, and the tree and squrrel disappeared. "Now if your confidence is low, you will have a hard time controlling what you give out." Hector held a string of smoke between his fingers. His expression turned from joyful to depressed. The string began to vibrate, almost lashing out at Hector. Then he clapped his hands together, returning his face to the normal expression. "And the same thing will happen with pride"

Ren raised her hand.”So what you’re saying is it’s not the powers we have or not but how we use it?” She asked him.

"Technically, yes"

Corrine watched Hectors demonstrations with wide eyes, trying to memorize everything he was saying and doing.

"Anybody wanna try? Don't worry, if the thing lashes out, I'm here to stop it"
