Ren shook the girls hand.”Nice to meet you. So um... what powers do you have?” She asked.

“I can summon things- spiritually that is.” She says, she snaps after letting go of Rens hand. A small bird appeared on the table in front of them.

Ren looked in shock.”Woah.” She said petting the bird.

She smiles a bit. The bird chirps happily. “What about you?” She asks.

“Plant powers.” She said making a potted plant grow vine legs and walking over to where they were.

Ember chuckles as she watches the plant walk over. She finishes eating her food, pushing her plate away.

Ren smiled. She finished with her plate as well and stood to throw it away.”Are you done with that?” She asked.

Matt

I had finished my ham and potatoes. "Filling." I said wiping off my hands and then mouth. I smiled. It seemed as though the last clouds of the past had gone away. I had felt just like before. Back before life turned to the worst. For once in forever, I had felt true happiness.

"I'm very pleased with this entire school so far. I must admit, I just thought it was going to be another adventure under my belt. However, this has been a very fun experience and without you guys, I wouldn't have been as happy as I am now." I looked over to Celes. "I'm s-sorry for my inexcusable rudeness toward you." I lowered my head ever so slightly. "I hope you can find it in yourself to forgive me." I looked over at Anthony.

"Thank you, friend, for being with me all of these years. You have supported me in my times of need and I know I can count on you. We've been through almost all of what life has to throw at us and we've come on top. You are an inspiration to me, and your fidelity to me has remained strong through the years and I pray I may go through another lot of adventures with you by my side." I had looked over to Corrine last.

"Corrine. Though our time together has been short, you have imbued me with a spirit I have not felt in a long time. You brought me back to the days of being a boy, days of pure excitement and fun. I feel laughter and happiness again. You made life enjoyable for me, despite all hell that's been given to me. You lit up my world and turned my bleak, meager existence into that of a fire of joy and celebration. When I say this, know it comes from my heart and soul: Thank you."

I took in a breath. My jovial rant was done. My spirit was very high at that point. It is honestly still unclear to me what caused me to become that expressive. It was really like I was back home. I had missed it so, but I came to a realization that life goes on, despite the odds. Life was worth living. I took a drink of water. I nodded and smiled a smile that nobody here had seen

Anthony

I had taken another few bites of my meal when Matt burst out of the silence with a speech commending us on our actions. In my years with him, I had never seen him this high-spirited. Sure he showed signs of happiness in daily life, but he had never really seemed to enjoy anything.

I knew something in his heart had clicked, and he had changed for the better. I didn't say anything. What was there to say? He had felt at peace, and that was what mattered. I smiled with him, his smile was my smile. We both found ourselves in a metaphorical oasis of serenity.

“Yeah, Thanks.” She says, smiling. She noticed the bird was still there, snapping to make it disapear, not wanting to exhaust her ability.

Ren smiled and took the tray and placed both trays on the garbage can.

Corrine was surprised at Matt’s sudden outburst, and listened as he thanked Anthony and apologized to Celes. When he turned to her her eyes widened a bit, and after hearing what he had to say to her she blushed a bright red but smiled, rushing forward and hugging him. She rested her head on his chest, the best she could with them still sitting down.

Anthony

I looked over at the two. It had brought happiness even into my heart. I had finished my meal and put my plate away. I sat sipping my drink. "Well..." It had seemed weird for me to talk at this point. "...what would you all like to do now?"

Matt

I put my arm around her and held her in close. "I'm up for anything," I said warmly.

Ember sat in silence, glancing at the group at the other table. She smiles, they seemed close. Once Ren had gotten back she asked, “Do you know what class we have next?

Corrine smiled at Anthony and nodded in agreement with Matt’s statement. She let go of Matt but let her head rest on his shoulder.

Anthony

Oh boy, what would there possibly be to do that didn't really involve eating or walking around? I doubt there is a movie theater around, and I don't know if there is anywhere to go swimming. I didn't even know if we had a class after lunch.

"Do we have class next, does anyone know?"

Ren nodded. She looked at her list.”Ooh we have music class.” She answered.

Celes smiled at Matt before turning to Anthony.”I heard we have music next.” She said smiling.

Corrine sat and listened to Celes and Anthony discuss what class we have next.

Lyric finished her food and headed to her class. She looked at her plans for today. She got things set up.

Hector were sitting in his office, drawing a beast on his mug. It kinda looked like a snake, but it had a lions head, bull horns and dragon wings. Though something seemed to be spewing out of it's mouth be it acid, water or magma. He looked at the finished drawing with a dull look in his eyes. "For the students, Pour eux, je vais tuer cette bête" He sighed.
