Celes giggled and hugged back.”I know I’m so smart.” She said.”And humble.” She joked.

Raven walked past the others heading into the lunch room , and stepped outside. She shoved her hands into her old leather jackets pockets and inhaled the outdoor air.

Matt

I smirked. "I have quite a few things up my sleeve that many don't know about." I remembered the frost dagger she had made. "I thought that dagger was cool." I laughed. "Wait, no, I thought it was sharp." I kept on laughing. "I forgot what my point was." My laughing died down. "I hate puns."

Anthony

"Maybe work on the humbleness." I chuckled. We headed down to the mess hall. I filled my plate and got a glass of juice. I sat down at our normal table. I was pretty proud of my abilities, and even more so at Celes'.

Celes grabbed a plate full of food. She was hungry she sat down next to Anthony.”So let’s talk about you a bit. So what made you come here?” She asked.

Corrine started laughing so hard she couldn’t breath. “You are such a dork!” She said, slowing her laughter a bit. She playfully punched Matt in the shoulder.

Anthony

"I just float around, going from place to place. I saw the school and joined. I wanted to hone my power I suppose." There wasn't really much to it. That is what really happened. I didn't know Matt would be here, that was just sheer luck.

Matt

"Owww..." I teased her. "Very uncalled for. Very." I gave her a fake disappointed look." I started laughing quickly after that. I went and got my plate. I put on two pieces of toast as always and some ham and potatoes. Not a whole lot of anything though. To drink, a glass of water. I sat down across from Anthony. I nodded my head at each of them as I called their names, "Anthony...Celes."

Corrine grabbed some salad and a glass of water, sitting down beside Matt. “Hey guys, what’s up?” She asked Celes and Anthony.

Celes nodded.”I see. So your story is boring.” She said messing with him.

Matt

I nibbled at my toast and took a sip of water.

Anthony

"If that's what you think, so be it." I said light-heartedly. "Not all stories are interesting." I took a few bites and turned my attention over to Corrine and Matt. "I'm doing just great thank you! How did your weapon go Corrine?"

Corrine smiled brightly, “I managed to create a dagger out of ice! I didn’t think I’d be able to do it.” She looked at Matt nibbling his toast, “What’s with you and toast?” She asked jokingly.

Celes sighed.”Again kidding.” She said turning her attention away from the two heading their way.

Anthony

I looked at Celes. "I know you're kidding. Relax." I gave her another hug. My attention turned to Corrine. "That's pretty cool! Just stay away from my fireballs haha."

Matt

I took another couple of bites. "I grew up with little access to food. I acquired a taste for the simpler things in life and learned to not be picky. Also, toast is a good filler, one that kept me going as a boy." I explained.

Celes sighed. She chuckled and shook her head. She looked at the view in the window.

Corrine laughed at Anthony’s comment about his fireballs and smiled slightly at Matt’s response, moving over to sit a bit closer to him. She took a couple bites of her salad.

Celes looked back at Anthony.”So what should we talk about now?” She asked him.

Matt

I smiled. For once, I think I just enjoyed the silence. I had all my favorite people around me and a nice hot meal. What could be better? I finished off my toast, took a sip of water and started to nom on my ham and potatoes.

Anthony

"I'm going to finish eating first." I had said calmly to her. Life didn't always have to be about words. Sometimes talking came in when it needed to.

Celes nodded then finished up her food. She smiled at him and hugged him. She liked the hugs.

Lucifer walked around the mess, he smiled as he saw the couple's. School had just started two days ago.

Ren was at a table alone. No one to talk or hang out with.

Ember noticed the girl, Ren, from yesterday sitting alone. She walks over after grabbing some food. “D-do you mind if I sit?” She asks, hoping she’d have more confidence to start conversation
