Corrine looked around, “Lets see what games they have going on, darling.” She said teasingly in response to him calling her sweet.

Celes shrugged.”I’d like to spend time with you.” She said smiling at him.

Matt

"Sure, games sound like fun. Just be prepared to lose!" I taunted playfully.

Anthony

"That sounds like fun, anywhere in particular you want to do that at?"

“You’re on!” Corrine responded, giving Matt a joking grin. Her eyes wandered up to the crown that he had set gently on his hair.

Matt

I spotted a game. The game had a few people throwing balls at pins. "You see that? Looks like fun." I said to her. "You ready for that first loss?" I teased her.

“What about the rides? I’d love to try one out.” She said looking at the rides they had there.

Corrine rolled her eyes but laughed, walking towards the game. She had spent years having snowball fights with her parents.

Anthony

I looked around. I had seen a Ferris wheel. "How about a Ferris wheel?" I suggested. "It's a pretty neat ride."

Celes nodded smiling. She grabbed his hand and let him lead her through the people to the ride.

Matt

I smiled and paid the operator the money. He gave us three balls each to knock over a pyramid of milk bottles. I took my first shot. Miss. "Oops...heh. I'm just warming up!" I threw again and only knocked down two. On my last throw, I knocked only one more over. "Well...the game's rigged. Must be it." The man set up the bottles again and we both looked over to Corrine. "Give it your all, sugarpie!" I said in good jest.

Anthony

I led Celes through a crowd of people to the Ferris wheel. The line was relatively short at this time. We got on and got strapped in. "Don't get scared, but I heard sometimes these rides stop when you're at the top...just a rumor now." I joked.

Celes smiled.”Nice try but that can’t scare me.” She said poking him playfully.

Corrine smiled, narrowing her eyes. She threw the first ball, only knocking over the top one. She threw the second one, this time knocking over two more. She stopped and thought for a second, before letting go of the third ball. She knocked them all over, and cheered. “What was that about my first loss?”

Anthony

"Now we just sit back and wait for the ride to start"

Matt

"Uh..well..." I rubbed the back of my neck. "I can't win them all I suppose." I laughed.

Corrine giggled, looking up at Matt, “You challenged a girl whose had snowball fights almost everyday of her life to a game that involves throwing a ball.” She gave him a michevious smile.

Matt

I gave her a hug. "Unfair advantage I think." I laughed. "Clearly it's not your past skill, you must be cheating. Anyway..." I started. "...are you going to collect your prize?" I smiled and started to look around for another booth to play at.

Corrine smiled and turned back to the game vendor, who handed her a little plush penguin.

Matt

I had spotted something. I turned back to Corrine. She had got her stuffed animal. It was adorable, but I had never seen anything like it. I took her free hand and walked her over to a ring-toss booth. On the way, I asked "...I know this may sound dumb, but what kind of animal is that? I've never seen such a thing."

Corrine stopped in her tracks, and stared at Matt. “You’ve never seen a penguin before?!” She asked in shock. She shook her head and kept walking, laughing silently to herself.

Matt

"What's wrong with that may I ask? I have never traveled to their native home." I laughed. I threw up my hands.We reached the booth and I paid the clerk at this stand, and we both got 5 rings each. This one should be easy enough. "I hope I'm a bit luckier this go 'round haha."

Corrine smiled and held the rings in her hands, she had never done a game like this before and was definitely going to lose, but she was having fun.
