Corrine smiled a bit, “I’ve never had cotton candy before, this is my first time I’ve even been to an event like this.”

Lyric smiled.”Yep. The craziest one I know.” She said.

"Oh dear"

Lyric got worried.”There’s nothing bad about that is there?” She asked him standing up.

"Great, you know that the dance begins at midnight, shall we go there?"

Lyric smiled.”Let’s go.” She said leading the way back out.

The stars were shining on the black sky. The streets were filled with colorful lights. The smell of Ganis filled the air. Rowan stood there, looking over the city, "isn't it beautiful" He asked.

Lyric nodded.”Come on Romeo.” She said walking back to the festival.

“Oh, no. I’m alright.” She says, not being a big drinker.

"Ok" He followed her.

Ember shook her head. “I-I’m Alright.” She says, the idea sounding unpleasant.

"I'm gonna save the booze to after the dance, there is something about the moonshine that enhances the flavor"

Ren chuckled.”Smart girl.” She said taking another sip.

Lyric found her old friend.”Hello again Hecky.” She said smiling at him.

"Why do you keep calling me that?" He turned to her.

((It's 03:00 here, I should probably go to bed))

I laughed. Oh, we're definitely going to have to visit every attraction now. I had taken her hand and led her over to the vendor. I bought one, berry flavored. It was an exceptional size considering what I paid for. I held it out for her to try a bite. "Back where I come from we had festivals like this all the time! Every event you'd imagine! Massive banquets. It was good stuff." I waited for her to try the candy.

"Oh stop it you..." I blushed a little. "You feeling hungry? I could treat you to some dinner after this."

Celes nodded. Her stomach started growling as she started to cover her stomach with her hands.”Shush you’re not part of this.” She said to her stomach.

Corrine picked a piece of the cotton candy off and tried it, “I was pretty isolated as a child so we didn’t go to these types of things, that’s why I was so excited when I heard there was a festival happening.” She picked off another piece of cotton candy, “This is good.”

"Poor thing. I grew up as a freebird.While it was great, I must admit, I wish I had someone to tell me what to do and where to go instead of figuring it all out myself." This berry cotton candy was truly delicious. I had a couple more bites. "Back where I came from, we didn't have all these cool games, we had a lot more simple things." I had another bite. "So why were you kept isolated? Powers?"

"Tell your stomach to take it easy, we still have a few minutes left until this thing is fixed." I laughed.

“I don’t actually know, I never asked. I had a good handle on my powers around the age of 9 or 10.” She went silent, thinking about her parents.
