They danced, and Rowan accidentally stepped on her foot. "S-sorry" he said again, hoping that she wouldn't get mad.

Ari giggles. “That’s fine, just do what feels right. There’s no judging here.” She whispers back, smiling.

Lyric took a breath her foot now hurting. She stopped and walked to a table.”Some dancer you are.” She said taking her high heel off and looking at her foot.

"Do you need any help?" He said worried

Lyric shook her head.”Depends would you like to step on it again? Sigh. I’m good.” She said feeling her foot.

The evening became close to midnight, and the music had slowed down from a high pace to a more slows and elegant one.

"Should we take the slow dance?" He asked with hope.

"Will you slow dance with me?"

Lyric sighed.”Well my foot still hurts a bit.” She said.

He hadn't actually left, he sat in the shadows and watched quietly

Ari blushes and nods, holding her hand out for him to take.

"Then I will just sit by your side, comforting"

He took her hand and the slow dance. "By the way, I saw you spying on me some days ago, what was that about?"

Lyric smiled.”No I’m fine. Let’s go. And if you step on my foot one more time then you’ll get it.” She said.

“Just wanted to make sure you got back okay.” Ari dances along to the song, her free hand placed on his shoulder. “While we’re at it, what were you doing in the forest?” She asks, her voice lowered so no one overhears.

Carden popped out from behind two buildings. He walked down a path to get to the school.

"Ok" he picked her up

“Woah.” Lyric said unexpecting him to do so.

Hector lowered hi voice too. "You see, this would le that we inhabit is filed with monsters and what not, and Riba sends me on these "cleanups" as she calls them, to exterminate them before they cause more harm" he whispered.

Ro wan danced around with her in his arms, not letting her put pressure on the bad foot.

Ari furrows her eyebrows. “Why send you?” She asks, a bit confused why she was just hearing about this.
