Matt

I woke up early today. I needed some quiet. As much as I liked the music and constant chatter of people, it can be a little hectic. I did my daily routine and then went down to the garden. The air was crisp and cool, and the grass was frosted over. There was little noise except for the rustling of a tree in the wind and the occasional chirp of a bird. Even the birds were asleep still. I had come to watch the sunrise, something I usually did not find myself doing, but that made this all the more enjoyable. I had thought back on last night and had started to think of what today would hold.

Anthony

I laid asleep for some time until around 9:30. I got up and did my routine and then decided to take a walk around to find Celes. Last night was fun, but I never took her out to eat. Maybe today I'd do that.

Celes was headed back to the school. She smiled and hummed her own tune.

Corrine woke and saw that she was still in her dress from the night before. She looked over and saw Ember asleep, and quietly got up to go shower, trying not to wake her. She decided to leave her hair wet today instead of doing her usual blow dry. She decided to wear a pair of black leggings, a red sweatshirt, and her usual pair of converse.

She walked out into the hallway, shutting the door quietly behind her. She walked down the hall, humming quietly to herself.

Matt

The sunrise had been beautiful. The air was a warming up now, and the goose bumps had gone away because of it. I smiled. This was very much worth my time. I took in a deep breath and got up. I stretched my upper body and my arms and legs. I had been sitting on the bench for a while. I made my way into the mess hall. I was getting hungry and sitting outside wasn't going to help that.

Anthony

I briefly saw Celes coming to the school. I walked to the front and eagerly awaited her arrival.

Celes walked in and screamed. She got scared cause Anthony was standing there unexpectedly.”Oh it’s you Anthony.” She said smiling.

Corrine walked through the halls of the school, peeking in to all of the classrooms and just looking around. Eventually her stomach began to grumble, so she made her way to the dining hall to see what they had to eat.

Matt

I fixed myself a plate of toast and eggs, with milk to wash it down. The hall had been empty, everyone was either sleeping in or out exploring the town some more. I didn't mind. Knowing Anthony, he was still getting some beauty sleep. He needs to learn to seize the day. I laughed to myself.

I sat down at our normal table and began nibbling on my toast as usual.

Anthony

I had jumped as well. I hadn't expected her to scream. "Sorry! Didn't mean to scare the all-powerful Celes!" I joked. I gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Who else would it be?" I said with a smile. I looked outside at the weather, sunny, warm, clear. Perfect weather. "Have you eaten yet?"

Celes shook her head.”No just went to look at some stores nearby.” She said smiling.

Anthony

I smiled. "How about we go back out to town and get some breakfast?" I nodded. "Sound good?"

Corrine walked in and grabbed a couple pancakes and a side of bacon, setting them on her plate. She decided on milk instead of juice and spotted Matt at their normal table. She walked over and sat across from him, taking a bite of her bacon.

Celes nodded.”Yeah does sound fun.” She said taking his arm.

Matt

"Good morning," I said casually. "sleep well?" I had said, taking in a forkful of eggs. I noticed her hair was still wet from her shower. I kind of liked the look.

Anthony

She had taken my arm. "Let's get moving!" I said. I started walking her to the town, everything was still quiet. People were tired from the festival and were still sleeping. Only businesses and the street sweepers were out and about. I looked around at the various inns and diners. I spotted one I liked the sound of. "Sunny Day," I said aloud. "Sounds like a good place to eat." I walked inside and had told the waitress to get a table for two. Booth. We were led to a table and we sat down.

She nodded, “Sorry about falling asleep, but thanks for taking me back to my room.” She smiled, taking a sip of her milk and small bites of her pancakes.

Celes looked around the room. She liked the restaurant. She could smell some food being cooked and it smelled good.

Matt

I chuckled. "It's no worries, I was getting tired myself." I took a few more nibbles and a sip. "Have any plans for today?"

Anthony

"What are you hungry for?" I asked. "I'm thinking about getting an omelet." I had said casually, looking over the menu. The waitress came over and asked us what we'd like to drink today. I responded with 'coffee'. I asked for a few creams and sugars.

She shook her head, “Nope, you?” She asked, finishing her pancakes and moving on to her bacon.

Matt

"I was thinking that Anthony, Celes, you, and I could all take a trip down to the lake and go swimming and have a sort of picnic. What do you think?"

Celes looked at the waitress.”Water please.” She said. She was looking over the menu and couldn’t choose what she wanted.

Corrine brightened and nodded, “I love swimming! I think I saw Celes and Anthony head into town.” She finished her bacon and milk, wiping her mouth with a napkin.

He rolled over in bed"ugh... is it morning already?"he sat up and yawned.
