Celes smiled and nodded.”Yeah Asteroth.” She said smiling at him.

“Thanks for the tea.” She says, waving before leaving Riba’s office. She notices Russell, her eyes significantly widening. She knew him from somewhere, it felt like her mind was screaming at her to remember.

He looked up at her"Hi... you're Ari... I swear I remember that name... Arianna!"

Ari shakes herself from shock, her eyes going back to normal. “Ah, yes I am. Do I... know you?” She asks.

"Well... you don't know me, but I'm sure you knew my grandpa, Russell Star"

Ari remained silent, the events of that day rushing through her mind. “Ah, s-Sorry I need to be somewhere.” She says, walking away quickly, soon getting to her dorm. Her hands shook as she unlocked the door, her mind being pulled by so many emotions and memories. She wasn’t sure how to cope.

"Aw man! I didn't get to ask her about the battle!"

Ari sits on her bed, her legs pressed against her chest, trying to understand. Her arms wrapped around her knees, held tight. “Has it really been that long?” She mutters.

Carden finished his food and stood.”I guess I will see you later Hmm?” He said to Asteroth and with that he left.

He sighed"i'll have to ask her later"

Althea walked through the halls, humming the same song she was before. She made her way back outside, deciding to go for a walk through the town.

Matt

I had surfaced a minute later with a light gasp for air. A minute twenty. Not bad. I saw Corrine just laying on the water just relaxing. I thought of doing the same. I leaned back and took in a breath and began to float. I just laid there letting the sun roll over me.

Anthony

"Asteroth...that new kid?" I got slightly jealous, it was unreasonable to be jealous, surely she has moved on, but it was still happening. I was starting to get hot so I took out my sunscreen and started putting some on in preparation for swimming.

Corrine brought her arms back to her side and leaned back, sliding under the water head first. She swam out further into the lake, to the point where she couldn’t feel the bottom anymore, and resurfaced.

((Guys I have to go back to school tomorrow is education really that important 😂))

((Nope. Haha I’m going back to school as well and I don’t want to.))

Celes smiled and nodded. Of course they were just best friends. It’s not like she liked Asteroth in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship anyways. She stood up and walked to the lake dipping her toe in.

Matt

I casually swam over to her. "Swim a lot as a kid? You seem pretty good at it." I laughed.

Anthony

"Yes Celes, I think it's safe to go in." I laughed.

Corrine smiled and nodded, “We live not far from a lake, and we always went in the winter because nobody else ever went swimming in the middle of a snowstorm.” She said, giggling.

Matt

"You're crazy...but in a good way." I laughed. "I lived by the ocean, I always explored the woods near my homestead and eventually found it." I looked down as if remembering something. "Now that I think of it, my swimming there might have actually sparked a war..." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

"...but hey, I had a fun time for however long it lasted."

She raised an eyebrow slightly at Matt’s comment about starting a war but shook it off. She suddenly remembered the food they had brought. “I’m gonna go try one of those cupcakes.” She said smiling before ducking back under the water and swimming towards shore.
