Ian Bradley (played anonymously)

(Feel free to start whenever y'all are ready-)
Lewis slid his shoes on, making his way to exit his own mess of a home. With a slam of the front door and a scream warning his daughter not to burn the house down, he was out of the house and walking down the road. Lewis trudged heavy steps along the cracked sidewalk. Tonight was a perfect night for barhopping. He said that about every night. His bright eyes scanned over neon lights, beckoning him to enter the establishments they represented. He passed on, and soon arrived at his favorite pub.
The man pushed his way through groups of people with no regard for their personal safety. He propped himself up on a bar stool. Lewis greeted the bartender, an old friend. The bartender considered anyone a friend if they were a regular. He ordered a round of shots, and turned his attention to drinking the night away. From the looks of it, he didn't seem affected by the sting of the alcohol traveling down his throat.

Ian was just walking home after locking up shop for the night. He stared at his breath as it puffed out in front of him like little clouds and shivered. If there was one thing he hated about this place is that it always seemed to be freezing cold outside. He picked up the pace a bit, anxious to get back to his apartment so he could kick back, relax, and maybe squeeze a few hours of sleep into his schedule before he had to wake up to this routine of getting up, going to work, and then walking home late at night. It'd be real nice to have a vehicle, but he sure as heck couldn't afford it and he knew that well. Car payments were the last thing he needed. Keep this up and people are gonna think I'm some kind of insomniac, Ian thought to himself as he rubbed at his eyes with one hand.
Serj and Daron walked down the sidewalk, quite bothered by the cold. Daron was more bothered about the cold then Serj, though, Serj didn’t really care as much. But anyways, the two just wanted to get back to their apartment after a long busy day. They needed some time to relax, maybe watch tv, maybe smoke some weed, they just needed to do something else other then work. The two didn’t have any friends to talk to or hang out with either, they just had eachother.

The two walked real close to eachother, Serj’s arm wrapped around Daron. He was trying to warm him, and it seemed to be working. Daron couldn’t help but to smile a bit.
Syn (played by koobler)

Tonight didn't go so well for Syn. He got weird looks during class again, and he caught people whispering and looking at him. It bothered him, just like any other human being--if he even really considered himself to be human. No matter where he went, it was never really going to get better for him.

Sometimes he wished that he could just isolate himself somewhere in the middle of Antarctica. He wouldn't freeze to death or anything, and he could make friends with penguins. Wishful thinking.

As he walked down the sidewalk on his way back to his dorm, he glanced around, seeing that people were all bundled up in their jackets while Syn himself only wore a t-shirt and jeans. It was always sort of funny to him how people got so cold, and Syn could be in a swimsuit, and still not feel a thing.
Jax Draven (played anonymously)

Jax was whistling as he was walking back to his apartment, a young boy close by him, literally latching onto him as he waltzed down the street. The young boy shivered and Jax let a small and soft laugh escape his lips, putting a hand around the boys waist, keeping him close. The boy smiled and simply watched the direction they were walking in.
Jax had found a person to entertain him that night, and actually was planning on properly hanging out with him and getting to know him, as the boy seemed to spark an actual interest in Jax, not just his looks, and that partly confused the young adult, but he thought he'd give it a go.
So, here he was, walking the boy back to his apartment, well, trying to anyways.
He let a curse word escape his mouth.
"What?" The boy asked. Jax shook his head in return.
"It's alright, Josh. Don't worry your pretty little head about it. I just seem to have taken a wrong turnin'..." He said, a rough Scottish accent recognisable. The boy simply nodded and kept close to the dealer as they continued walking.

Ian made it home a bit early. He stepped into his apartment, locking the door shut behind him and glancing around. It was a pretty small space, but hey, it was way easier to clean up that way. Ian let out a tired sigh and walked over to go use the bathroom when he caught sight of himself in the mirror. ".. Christ, did I seriously look like that all day?" He took off his glasses and squinted at his reflection. At this point he was convinced the bags under his eyes would never go away, making him look older than he actually was. Shaking his head, Ian replaced his glasses. "Heh.. at least the glasses kinda cover it up, eh? Probably should do something about that, though.."
The two made it to their apartment, which happened to be the one that was above Ian’s. the two took off their jackets, throwing them to the side because they weee simply to lazy to hang them up, and went and sat down on the couch. They turned on the tv, got out some joints to smoke, and just relaxed for a little bit. They talked about whatever they usually talked about. Bands, random thoughts that popped into their heads, odd people they saw at Walmart, just life in general. You know, just stuff.
Lewis, as expected, spent the night drinking heavily. He started some fights, took a couple blows to the jaw, but returned home with only a bloody nose and a bruised jawline. Far better than most nights for sure. A buddy of his who typically joined him in barhopping was courteous enough to drive him home. Lewis stood on the porch, fumbling with his keys as he muttered drunken slurs of curse words.

Eventually, his daughter opened the door for him after hearing a struggle outside. Lewis barged into the small home and immediately threw himself on the couch. His unsteady gaze focused on the teen, who was currently sipping a glass of water in the kitchen. "What're you doin' up? Get your ass to bed." His words could barely be comprehended.

With a roll of her eyes, Delilah left the kitchen and headed down the hallway for her room. "Fine. Christ." Lewis watched after her until her bedroom door was shut before he blacked out on the sofa.
( I love modern life RPs and have a great character for it. I see that the RP is currently closed but if ever the thread needs some drama or some trouble, shoot me a message! Rowen is a wonderful trouble starter.)
