((I'll speak for the teacher or play as them? Oh also is anyone else playing as a new student to the school besides me? It could be science first?))

Avory shook her head as she saw the teacher turn around from the board, "alright class, welcome back from your Christmas break! I'm happy to see you all, but it's time to start on your new projects!" The teacher spoke grabbing something from his desk.

((My character isn't exactly new, but he's a social outcast in the school given the nature of him seeming more human than supernatural being.))

James set his book down as the teacher spoke, hoping that it wasn't a group project. He looked around seeing the other students settled in and ready, some wanting it to be a group project and others who were indifferent all around. He wondered if this year would be different from the others, he had already made an acquaintance earlier so it was a decent start.

Madison moaned in annoyance. She had just gotten into the school, as a new student, and now she had to deal with projects that she probably hasn't heard of yet. Maybe she should've stayed in bed today, it would've been a lot easier.

"well class first things first! We have two new students with us, Madison SkyBlossom? And Avory Renne?" The teacher announced the new students, "welcome to the school you two, now for the project we will be having groups of three or four. You may also choose your partners I'll discuss the project after you get your groups." The teacher spoke calmly. Avory looked around at all the kids, she wasn't so sure about the project and being in a group.

James let out a sigh, of course with his luck it was a group project. And with that he realized he would probably get forced into a group to do all the work by himself, again. He gave a wayward glance around the room, looking towards Madison, maybe things wouldn't be all that bad. He gave a face that read 'Want to?' offering to be part of a group if she had wanted to.
