"..." Charles wasn't sure how his sanity was doing with someone talking to himself. Plus, the Deerclops required focus, something he may not have when someone else, either Alice or Raven talking. He shook his fluffy head and changed the subject.
"You guys both have weapons, right? Cause a Deerclops is bigger than the full grown pine tree. And that's still considered small to a lot of monsters!"

Raven gulped at the thought of such size. " Um a knife and two daggers." She replied pulling the two daggers she had made out of branches and sharp stones. " I'm thinking that's not nearly enough." She said looking around.

"well, we have an ancient spirit who copied my DNA to come back to life, has enough magic power to topple a skyscraper by accident, which sadly that has been tested, and can fly faster than an eagle, so we should be fine."

Charles stops in his tracks, turning to face Alice.
"Then why are we still here?! If you have those abilities, you can fly ahead and slay every beast you guys need to get home!"

Raven glared at Alice. “ Yeah! Why don’t you?” Then she froze maybe Alice was just as scared as her. Maybe that’s why , or maybe she will.

"ahem. its not me, its E. and take a wild guess why we haven't seen her for a while!"

"and what do you mean, all the beasts we need to get home? thats all it takes?"

"im sure She is there as we speak, killing deerclops." (lol for those who have not found out Her language yet, She is completely lost )

Charles sighs.
"Let's hope she is, cause I've never taken down a Deerclops before."

"not meaning to be rude but maybe its because your inside a spider?"

Raven sighed , the odds of them beating these Deerclop things seemed to be getting smaller and smaller. Sure Alice seemed confident , but Charlie didn't seem so sure. And he did know the most about this place. " Charlie ... have you lived here all your life?" She asked changing the subject.

"well thats new!"

"apparently, i have a physic connection with E. bad news, She is not fighting deerclops, She is lost in the middle of nowhere. but, apparently She can track my location because physic stuff is amazing."

"Deerclops hate spiders so, yes, you can say that I haven't fought one because I'm currently inside of a spider," Charles stated. He then relayed Raven's question in his head.
"I... I was dragged down into Douleur about... three...? Let's say three years ago," He stated uncomfortably, "But it wasn't like I could've gone back to my family as a spider."

Raven nodded, the sad thought of him being here for three years hit her hard. " So your family has no idea what happened to you?" A fact was Raven wasn't usually one to care about family, but this was just a kid and the family was completely lost on where he was?
