So another person I write with is interested in a small group about an underwater slice of life. I have this as a general pod page. They're a group and quite varied. I plan to really flesh this world out. As you can see in some of the pictures, it's not exactly Earth. It's a fantasy planet, so there may be elves on the surface... Well, not may, there ARE. And all the other fantasy races, including humans.

Keep in mind, this group is only open to merfolk. Mermaids, sirens, mermen... Undersea creatures as well. Let's go for 2 more and a forum thread. If a ton of interest is there, we can start an official group. Then we could set up a forum where different groups could move around different territory.

Here's the kicker. I want detailed writing. Multiple paragraphs, with detail. I'll throw some antagonists along, and we can discuss situations and such... But it's mainly slice of life. So be ready to write about hanging out as well. Life doesn't always go from plot to plot. Lets worldbuild and define what's happening without focusing on one task. What do they eat? How do they relax? What are their daily issues? Let's work on that before they decide to go rescue some prince or whatever problem bands them in five minutes.

I have quite a few characters who might work. Im not the moist detailed roleplayer, and I'm working to get better. This might just he the challenge I need.

I am interested! I need to make a character, but I already have one in mind.

I could be interested in this, perhaps. I am very literate and detailed. Slice of life isn't usually my muse, but as long as there's some drama and plotting along the way, I can hang.

We can definitely get some plots going. They'll form naturally. I'm thinking of a sort of diplomacy... Maybe we can start with a market scene? My group of tribes could easily play a market which I could use to interact with as many characters as possible. From there we can flow with situations that pop up from a talk. After all, a varied group would be there... It only makes sense to ask for help, or assistance with something.

So we'll keep it fluid, but I'm not trying to say this won't have any plot. Only that world development takes a priority. But I think building from the market scene should work out. So stand by for the starter forum link!
