Thank you, and without further ado, let's get on with the show!
A tall man of six-one strided along the busy street with a briefcase in hand and a gun under his left arm in the holster. A cigarette hung between light pale lips not yet being lit until he got to where he could settle down to light it. Today he wore a black vest with a white button up shirt beneath it and a black jacket that he fumbled a bit to put on. Going with his tops were a pair of black, pinstripe suit pants that had many thin white stripes going down in a vertical line around the pants.
A sterling silver watch on his right wrist and a nice pair of black gentlemen shoes to finish the touches of his outfit for today. After moving off to a less busy side of the street he pulled out a lighter from one of his many pockets then with a quick flick of his thumb upward the top of the lighter flipped up and the ember flame came alive.
He used that same hand to light his cigarette, turning the end of it into a cherry light before he flipped his lighter closed and stuffed it back into his pocket. His index and middle finger held the cigarette between the two, once he did that he took a long drag. His lungs filled with the smoke and he held the smoke in for a couple of seconds before exhaling it out through his nostrils.
Silver eyes gazed up at the sky in wonder as he leaned back against the wall of the store he stopped in front of. Him stopping here wasn’t just out of the blue, he was waiting on someone to come out of the store. The store was called Mimi’s Corset Shop, normally a man wouldn’t be waiting here unless they were waiting on someone, and that was just what he was doing.
Raising his left arm up, his silver eyes gazed at the time, it was about 2:13pm...they were going to be late to the meeting if she did not hurry up. Sure the meeting is at 3:00pm, but when you have to walk it is a totally different story. Don’t get him wrong, it wasn’t like they didn’t have cars, but then she wanted to walk today because, and he quotes; “Today is a beautiful day out, let’s take a walk.”
Sighing softly, he once again took a drag from his cigarette, holding the smoke again before releasing it into the air. Slowly he bent his knees to set his briefcase down and moved his right hand to pull out his cigarette case holder, after putting out the cherry light of his cigarette he tucked the half used cigarette into the case. As soon as he tucked his cigarette case away and picked back up his briefcase, a ding from the bell was heard and out came a woman.
“Thank you Mimi! I’ll be back again when I need another color!” The woman was a couple inches taller than your average woman. With skin that was like caramel and eyes that were golden and black hair that was just a couple inches past her shoulders. Today she wore a black madden swing dress with some low white pump shoes on, the dress hugged her curves perfectly and it showed the outline of her voluptuous breasts perfectly.
The door to the shop closed and golden eyes looked around for someone until they quickly landed on the man she was looking for. With a smile that lit up her eyes she moved closer to him and gave him a kiss on each cheek after standing on her toes. “Vincent, it is great to see you...are you ready to go?”
The man named Vincent smiled a bit and nodded his head. “It is wonderful to see you Miss. Luna, and yes, I am ready to go. Although we must hurry, we will be late for the meeting.”
A giggle was heard and Vincent almost sigh out loud, here goes this talk again about him calling her just Luna. Now it wasn’t that he didn’t mind calling her that, but she was the someone very important and he did not want anyone saying he is or was disrespecting her because she was to be held with the upmost respect from any and everyone.
Nevertheless, they did start to walk side by side and from there she started to lightly lay in on him. “Now Vincent, you’ve known me for how long?” Vincent spoke up after putting his free hand into his pocket. “Five years.”
Luna nodded her head. “Then it is okay to call me Luna, besides...you wouldn’t want to upset me right?” Of course she was joking and he knew it, but part of him, the side that is forever loyal to her took it with some seriousness. “Right - I suppose I will call you Luna from now on, I do not want to make you upset.”
“Thank you Vincent.” Smiling happily that they were now on the same page she then sighed softly and looked at the sky for a brief moment, today was going to be a fantastic day.
As the two walked to the meeting Luna couldn’t help but to look at her bodyguard, Vincent of the Martillo family. A family for generations that protected the Valentino family from the Genoverse and Runarata families, now here the oldest son of the Martillo family was here protecting her. She almost smiled, remembering his first reaction to the Godfather of the Valentino family being her. No one knew that she was the Godfather, it stayed within the inner family circle, at most what people thought she was was a very close relative of the Valentino family. It almost made her snort in laughter when people outside the circle made assumptions that her very dead Father was still alive.
Aniz Valentino passed away just five years ago, it still stung to not have her parents with her. She knew that they would be proud of her because she was living up to the Valentino name, even if she was a secret. But that would only be for now, she knew that once she went to this meeting people will know that she was the new Godfather, had been for five years. Of course some of the more older family members did not accept right away that a woman was the head of the family.
It took time for her to win them over but it was fairly quick, once they saw her bring down one of the Runarata’s largest drug operation and took it for herself they finally respected her.
A soft giggle escaped her and Vincent looked at her in question, the woman was strange to him at times but in a good way. “Going over memories Miss - Luna?” He asked, catching himself from calling her Miss again, he almost sweat drop when she gave him a look but she just smiled at him and nodded her head.
“I was going over memories of the first time we met and me proving myself as the -” She whispered playfully at him, some elders on the street giving them the stink eye thinking she was whispering something dirty to him. “Godfather.”
Vincent shook his head and gave her a look that told her that it wasn’t the time to be throwing that word around. But Luna only giggled more at this.
After some talking they both finally arrived at a tall building, it was a bank, along with many other small businesses occupying the building. Vincent hurried a bit closer to the building first and reached his right hand out to open the door up for Luna, smiling at him she nodded her thanks and went inside, hoping to meet her consiglere, Simon. Today they would be closing a some sort of territory truce with the Geneovese and the consiglere will be preset. People thought that the Godfather of the Valentino family wasn’t joining in because of course it is still a secret and mystery as to who it is but sure enough the Godfather of the Valentino family will be there, they just don’t know it.

5 minutes since the travels. 30 minutes since lunch. An hour since leaving the house. Then possibly another meeting with the Godfather...2 hours? #5 horse on the 30 min mark then #10 for the hour. He thought to himself as he was looking at a pocket watch of his. The clock kept ticking as time passes by.
The pocket watch was plain but at the same time decorated in such of way to keep its style. A button on the side to open it, a silvery knob to adjust the time. The numbers were shiny and could glow in the dark. As if all resources were poured into making this one object for one simple job to tell time. A masterpiece. The shell was also silvery and lustering in light. It wasn't heavy but light to touch and carry. There was no picture inside of it. A chain was attached and leads to the pocket inside his gray jacket.
He placed back his pocket watch into his left pocket inside his jacket before returning to read the newspaper. His overall attire was...gray. Gray from head to toe. The Gray Advisor some people called. Laplace for another. Simon for some. He looked devilishly handsome at the age of 28, quite job for a person at the position.
The outer attires were gray, but one shade darker. The vest was a normalish light gray while the shirt was white, coupled with a black tie. An odd combination of color. The shoes and the fedora he wore were also gray. There was also hoslter for his M1911 pistol inside his jacket.
He was sitting at the waiting room, reading today's newspaper. He then wrote down the numbers for the horse race on a small notepad before tearing out and giving it to one of the members to be submitted for gambling. An European face but oddly with black hair. His eyes were brown however. He wasn't exactly a strong guy, but he's getting there, slightly stronger than the average, but thin. His sunglasses was placed on a table in front of him.
With the odd looks, he gave off an unusual aura. An aura of assurance.
