I've been offline for the last week recovering from this absolutely insane year. I love you guys and I've missed you.

I wanted to share this with everyone -- my annual video project where I take 1 second of video for every day of my life. I got this idea many years ago from Darth_Angelus, who I hope will share his too!



2017 was an absolutely BANANAS year of change for me, without even looking at the stuff for the RPR! I'll touch on the RPR's year in review in a news post a little later today, but this post is more about what happened to me personally.

• I took on a new 50/50 business partner
• I merged the business that I'd been running and making my living from for over a decade with hers, and had to go through combining finances, technology, teams, processes, services, products, etc.
• Got a new guinea pig (Mr. Ghirardhelli - the black one) and got him through the terrible teenage months, followed by a life-threatening injury
• Moved to a new state
• Started working in an office rather than from home
• Hired a bunch of new people
• Grandmother (paternal) passed away, took it a little hard
• Bought my first car (I've largely lived in big cities with dope public transpo, what can I say)
• Broke my first bone (toe)
• Became a tabletop DM for really reals
• Business partner got severely injured and I ended up taking over a portion of her duties for a time, which required learning a LOT of new skills
• Had NO major illnesses and hardly even any colds - this is a BIG DEAL for me you guys, two years ago I had crippling pneumonia 4x in one year and didn't even view it as THAT unusual.
• Add all the stuff going on in my personal life and with the RPR and Line of Action and my other projects and dance and my political involvement -- this year was NUTS

I love this year in review idea! I'll make my own about it. This is something I'd love to do as a way to review the positives and how much they can outweigh the negatives. Thank you so much for sharing, Kim!

That's so cool! It's nice to learn more about your year and all that happened. The year in review idea is really neat, I think as well. As always, keep up the awesome work!

Here's mine! It's my fifth in a row and it's a great way to remember every day but also to share your life with friends, especially distant ones.

I highly recommend the project to anyone that's interested in doing the same

I'd like to mention that Slimer was at the desk of the police station (which was in the Library).

I love seeing these every year. I wanted to make one last year, but it never happened. Maybe this year will be different!
