Well... If laurelei/Annie doesn't reply by tomorrow, I have a scenario/start-up idea I can post and we can use to get things rolling.
Ill make sure im on tomorrow because i have been dying to do a Apocalyptic rp 
Alrighty. As promised, here's the idea I had. You'll have to forgive me because I typed this up a while back and I made it to target one RP partner at a time, so I do need to update it.
Tell me what you think of it though.
What has that twisted government done?... You awaken to find yourself on the 3rd floor balcony of a large hotel. The events that led to this point were mostly a blur, but you recall hearing a loud whistling, and when you looked around to see what was causing it, you saw a large metal object falling from the sky. Suddenly you heard someone let out what seemed like a war cry before jumping in between you and the object just as the object struck the ground. After that, a sudden shock wave sent you flying before you blacked out and when you woke up, you were safe and unharmed on this balcony. Everyone you see on the ground in the surrounding area seems to be acting odd, their skin pale gray and a bizarre static sparking on them time and again. The static seemed to give them a radiant glow in 1 of 12 set colors. From what you've seen the colors vary from person to person, being rather spread out so no 2 colors were standing next to each other. The colors you notice are; white, black, red, light blue, yellow, light green, dark blue, brown, dark green, clear, gray, and chrome. Suddenly you get noticed by a man that was sparking with a red static, and with a sharp growl the man bursts into flames and jumps from the ground to the bars lining the outside of the balcony, then starts clawing in your direction like a feral beast, and it's then that you get a good enough look to realize this flaming mass of flesh trying to attack you... Is a feral Zombie. You only just realize this when someone jumps from a nearby building and with a sharp spin, kicks the burning mass of flesh right in the face and sends it spiraling to the ground with a loud thud. "Guess you aren't infected... These things only attack what they feed on, and they are not feeding on each other. If you aren't too traumatized to speak, I have one question for you... Do you want to survive?" the male says in a calm tone, standing parkour style where the zombie once had been and patiently awaits your reply.
