Just beyond the many mountain scapes of the High- East Mountains, there lay a small clearing. A small clearing created long before man had stepped foot on planet earth. One could only assume by a meteor that crashed into the mountains and dissolved overtime, in result a crater was born, a valley. The ancestors of the High-Elves aimed for distance, far from the human race as well as the many other races that they feared would disturb them. When coming through the High-East Mountains, the harsh lands had coated over with green fields and ruins of the mountains that use to be, this was perfect.

The outcome of this finding was only seen long past the times of the original ancestors but their dreams and legacy held up through time and their kin had taken over what was left behind until their kids finished what the Vespertine Family now calls home.

The Mother and father of Zayne was the 6th generation after the completion of the kingdom. They lived an above average lifestyle with little to no trouble to fret of. The king was the decedent of the Vespertine line while the queen was from a neighboring High-elf Kingdom. In an arranged marriage to be wed at the age of 8, their future had already been decided. The king had learned from his grandfather and father and was the definition of strict and scary. Old fashioned to the core and with the intent to keep it so abiding by all traditions passed down and not straying away from that. Serious was the only expression he was known for, No one had seen him truly angry and the people who had made him angry weren't alive to tell the tale. The Queen was more of a light hearted spirit but also went by tradition and followed along after everything her king said, even when it wasn't right. It was the one thing that annoyed their children. The fact that she refused to speak for herself. They had 2 children. Their first was nothing but a failure in their eyes and had been banished after he turned 14, the age to properly wed children. Before then, he had gotten to experience happiness for a split moment, the moment of the birth of his youngest brother. The King and Queen had conceived a 2nd child, also a male. Along with their first born, they were overjoyed and strived to better their 2nd spawn. This was Zayne. Zayne Vespertine was a child of peer pressure and overwhelming expectations. It was the Eldests' mission to assure that his youngest brother had a sane mind through it all and after being banished, he still continued to sneak his way back and the bond between the two grew. The eldest brother, although a disappointment, was all too wise for his age and he used the last years of his time in the castle brilliantly, by learning the ways of his fathers rulings, learning the trade and the skills at fighting to where he even surpassed his father at age 14.

The contact with his brother is now non existent and has been this way for so long. On the day of Zaynes 20th birthday, he went to meet his brother in the usual spot at the usual place, only for his elder brother to never show. Zayne forgot about his brother after 2 years of going to the same place at the same times as per usual. Now he has assumed abandonment and has forgotten his brother ever since.
