Hi there-- I'm new to this particular site, but I've been poking around and I think I get the general understanding of how this all works.
I am an old school RPer from the AOL chat room days, and I am looking to get back into the game. I am an English teacher with a solid working knowledge of our language's mechanics and conventions, so I believe myself to be "literate" as a player-- I think that's the correct terminology these days. We didn't use those sorts of labels "back in the day" hah. With that said, I don't like to get into any sort of pedantic arguments over grammar, nor do I fuss over it too much when I am writing. I think it's okay to drop some of the "rules" when participating in the creative process.
I am looking for something with a modern or modern-fantasy setting. I prefer plots with a lot of action because I tend to get a bit bored easily. I like: noir, mystery, crime-drama, the supernatural, horror, action-adventure, romance, science fiction, steampunk, post-apoc, zombies... and the list goes on.
I don't, and have never, played with one set character that I've built. It just doesn't suit me. Instead, I prefer to create a character based off of my current feeling, my partner, and the plot line we plan to delve into. I work better that way
I understand that this not the "adult" forum, but I would like a partner that is 18+. I'd also prefer to play opposite a male character in a M/F pairing.
If any of this seems appealing to you, or you believe we would work well together, feel free to reach out. I am happy to work out a plot line and pairing that is mutually satisfying.
Thanks,
Kali

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
