Hi everyone! I'm Themascura, and I'm a high lit, seasoned roleplayer looking for a few new long term partners/faces.
I work in third person, past tense, and normally produce upwards of three paragraphs per post in a half-hour time range. I do have a very heavy real life work schedule, so my availability is spotty, limiting me to slow paced RPs for the majority of the weekend. That being said, I prize subtlty and I LOVE reading between the lines and I am perfectly happy producing and carrying long term plotlines.
I'd prefer someone who keeps a mostly upbeat tone in their RPs (some drama is necessary and great, but I'd rather it not be all we do) and who is okay with long(ish) periods of silence during my crazy work period. I'd really like someone with a good sense of humor and the ability to make a post funny without breaking a scene.
One more thing!
I cannot overstate how much I love someone who *reads* my posts and picks up hints and what I'm layin' down. That is my bread and butter, my heart's desire, the song of my people.
What I'm looking for:
(*) The Antisocial/stoic with a heart of gold
(*) The Enthusiastic Nerd
(*) The Charisma
(*) The Medic
(*) The Broken Crown/Fallen Hero
Things I'm not looking for:
(*) The Sex Appeal (Got it already, thanks.)
(*) The Addict/Mad Savant
(*) The All Powerful
I enjoy all kinds of settings except post apocolyptic- and there are a few topics that are absolute no-gos for RPing with me.
A.) Rape, including implied.
B.) Child death or abuse (some implied is okay, as long as it's off camera and not implicit.)
C.) Repeated pokes/tags/reminders.
Lastly!
If I don't respond, please don't take it personally! It isn't you, your writing, or your character! It's just that I've had some bad experiences (haven't we all?) and sometimes PMs and crowds can be overwhelming and scary for me! I'm trying to break out of my comfort zone, but I'm sure we all understand how difficult that can be.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
