40 years ago the world had cracked into floating islands over the course of a disastrous magic war. The technology have developed into steampunk. The islands are littered with abadoned buildings and beasts of fairytales. Magic has left mankind, but not fully. For the abilitys that the possessed before have been degraded into a weapon of their choice, melee or ranged. It's a chaos, it's an apocalypse, it's cracked.

Warning contains: Gore, violence, and a crapton of swearing

The molt: Your powers have turned into a piece of equipment with one special feature. Like if you had the power of flight, they have turned into a backpack fitted with leather wings that can fly a bit. Firebreath? You get a mouth piece that acts like a flamethrower. Are you a sound person, you are givin an instrument making noise.

The rules:

No Godmodding.
Don't be a dick.
Don't pull powers/gadgets out of your ass.
Don't do anything that get the Admins after me.
You have to die to leave the game.
No infinite+1 weapons.
Don't make deus ex machinas rain from the sky.
No sexy stuff.

Powers that are not allowed:
Life, how are you supposed to kill with this?
Death, too overpowered.
Heart and love, too weak.
Soul/Spirit/Aura, shit won't work.
(Pure) Energy/Magic, too overpowered.
Sun, moon, and star powers, celestial bodies won't save you from the hellish lands.
Psychic force, too op.
Illusion, unless you give a good reason.
Time, TOO OP.
Space, TOO OP.
Void, TOO OP.

Don't abandon hope, there are tons of other powers.

You have to write your character, and the weapon their power is, before entering, kinda like this.

Hector Bossuet, gone mad. Weapon: Two chains that emits different types of gasses.

Ps. If you have more than one type of power, you have to choose which to take and which to let go of.

I’m interested in this! I could use Corrine, but how do you think her power would be turned into a piece of equipment? We can also say she’s a bit older for this rp 😂

Let's say, ice grenades, an a icethrower (parody of a flamethrower", a knife that freezes the things that it stabs? Something along those lines, but feel free to inject your own ideas.

(Know what? We start)

Hector were out on a wastelands isle, scavenging for drugs and food. The piles were humongous as the most were made of buildings. Hector looked nothing like his old self. Gray painted all over the body, hair gone white from stress, eyes red with medical abuse. The crack of the world had taken harsh on him, as it had on many others. Around his wrists, shackles with chains around them. He wore constantly a gasmask, protecting him from dangerous fumes.

The trash were thrown behind him as he dug like a mole through it. Then he stumbled upon something sharp, a needle. It was a quarter full with somekind of blue fluid, but Hector didn't care. "Finally!" He yelled and ripped it from the pile. The needle were filling his veins with decades old medicine. "Ahh" He said laying on the back, drooling.

Corrine sat, perched on what she assumed was once a wall. She held her bag close to her, people didn’t hesitate to steal from one another these days.
The crack had changed her, like it had everyone else. She was no longer her bubbly friendly self, instead taking on a harder and colder demeanor.

She didn’t look as she used to either, her white hair now stained with the dust and dirt in the air, her blue eyes were much paler, as if the life had been taken out of them.
She sat with a scarf wrapped around her head, covering her hair and her mouth, only her eyes exposed. She made no move to go anywhere, instead just sitting and watching.

Baxter hadn't changed at all, the crack had been kind of a good thing for him. If he was lucky, some days he could find a quiet island and get a good amount of sleep. When he wasn't doing that he is was hunting monster for a gang he joined a while back.

Baxter still wears a black suit, which he tries to keep as clean as possible. His black his is almost always dirty.

Ari remained the same for the most part, the crack had been a suprise, of course. Although she had been alive so long, this didn’t have much of an affect. She had made herself famous actually, she had become an inventor.

Ari sat at her desk, in her small store filled with an assortment of machines and other things. She tinkered with a pair of glasses, used for seeing a long distance away, or small things close up clearly.

The ecstasy of the needle had left his body, leaving him numb. He shook his head, and stood up. "Man. Hey Jarred how about some food?" He said out in the blue, but there were none other than Hector on that Island. "So you a scared today too? Well more for me" He said and stuffed his hands in his pockets. He fumbled around, then took out two meathooks. They got attached to the ends of his chains. He slinged them around another isle, then proceded to climb upwards on them.

Corrine sighed, eventually deciding that she should do something rather then sit there. She stood up, brushing the dust off of her pants before jumping off the crumbled wall.

She walked through the ruined buildings. This island was pretty much abandoned, she hadn’t seen anyone else during her time here.

Ari frowns, her eyes furrowed in concentration. “Why aren’t you working...” She mutters, raising the glasses to her eyes. They acted like normal glasses. “I could have sworn the battery I used was functional.” She says, setting the glasses down. She pushed off the desk, the chair rolled over to the stock closet. She stood up on the chair, grabbing a box on one of the higher shelves, searching through the assortment of batteries in the box.

Hunter walked into his house, setting his battery pack down, he let out a heavy sigh, "Another day another 'Shocking' discovery" He cringed at his own pun, and sat down. "Ok, Prototype I.D 456DA, Activate primary Attack, Aim Northeast," Hunter said, prepared to run. "Primary Attack enabled, Aiming." The Pack grew a barrel, in the opposite direction. "Shit," Hunter said as the bolt of lightning erupted from the barrel. Hitting his window and shattering it. "Sorry!" Hunter called out as a group of kids ran screaming. ((After this I'll roll a dice to determine where it will aim.))

Corrine walked through the ruins, keeping her eye out for anything that could be important or useful. Eventually she made it to a building that wasn’t entirely destroyed during the crack. It was a small house that she had made her home. She walked in, locking the door behind her and setting her bag down on a table. Some of her ice grenades had fallen out and onto the floor. She sighed, deciding she’d pick them up later.

Ari smiled once she had found the right battery, pushing off again, the chair rolled back to her desk. She pulled down her magnifying glass above the glasses, grabbing a tiny screwdriver, opening up the side panel, delicately placing the battery inside. She put up the magnifying glass, putting on the glasses, after closing the panel. They were successful, she could see the smallest object from across the room.

Crawling up the chain, Hector could hear somebody talk. "Did you see what I did to that hooker in Grubedge, bitch isn't going to walk straight the rest of her life, haha" They were two up there, must be, Only Hector could hear Jarreds voice. He peeked over the edge, seeing two men covered in armor made from old cartires. Behind them were three cans of soup, beans and fish. Hector jumped over the edge, landing on the isle. "Who the shit are you?" Asked the biggest one. Hector didn't answer, no, he ran at them. He spun around, chains flailing from his arms. Mustard gas emited from the chains, engulfing the isle in gas. The men ran to escape the hellish air. Beneath the mask Hector smiled. The gas were ichy on his skin but he didn't bother.

Hunter altered his battery pack until eventually, the time came to go back to work, along the way he found a girl, only about fifteen, walk into an alley, Hunter stared at her and said: "What the hell is wrong with you, why are you going into an Alley at five in the morning?" She jumped and turned around, "Oh sorry, I need to find someone." Her voice was soft like she was afraid she was going to wake someone. Hunter shook his head, dumbfounded when a group of people walked up to them, the largest one was about 2 meters tall, and heavily built, Hunter attempted to walk past them when one of them drew a knife and pointed it at them. Hunter pulled his battery pack off his back, nervous.

Hunter drew in a shaky breath, and said, "Prototype I.D 456DA, Activate primary Attack, aim west." Hunter said.
