Hrua looked up at Hector, sensing the dread in his voice, it nudged him.
"Wow. It must be hard having a constant reminder of something I'm sure you'd rather forget." Athen placed a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry." She took her hand off his shoulder.
"No need to be" He took another sip.
Corrine walked over to the two, and motioned to Hrua, “Can I ask what that is?”
Hrua made what could sound like a bark
Ari makes it to the ship, an idea popping into her mind. She puts her hands down behind her. The gloves activate, the momentum sending her up and into the ship. “They work.” She says cheerfully.
Hrua barked with a deep voice, then ran in circles, chasing it's own tail.
Athena smiled and finished her dinner. "So, what do you guys want to do?"
"I'm probably gonna stay up all night, and argue with Jarred over the physics of my boat, and discuss the name of it"
((ok))
"Interesting way to spend your free time. I'll probably play solitaire or something to pass the time. I don't sleep very often."
"Interesting way to spend your free time. I'll probably play solitaire or something to pass the time. I don't sleep very often."
Hrua nudged her foot with its snout, and barked. "I think he likes you"
Athena smiled. "I'm just glad we got over the shyness. How big do you think Hrua going to get?" She grabbed her last peach and gave it to Hrua.
"Of all the Hagamorns I have seen, Hrua is the smallest, I think it's a runt of the herd. It might grow to the size of a house, maybe" Hrua nibbled the peach in it with gusto.
Athena's eyes widened. "That's HUGE. Also, how do you know all this stuff? You can identify practically anything we come across."
"I have lived in this world for 63 years, I have seen alot of things, I have seen dragons burning down cities, Hagamorns flying over the ground when it was whole, those Himblas weren't the first that I have seen. Corrine and Arianna are young and from cities, and you are young and haven't experienced much of the world"
Athena smirked. "That's funny. Actually, although I look like I'm 20, I'm more like 58. Elf immortality is amazing isn't it? Too bad I lost my Elfness after the crack. But my ears are still slightly pointed."
"Wait, You were alive before the world cracked, Which side were you on? The Teraliance "The Good Guys" or the Hands of Gods "The Bad Guys"?"
Athena's smile dropped. "I wasn't on either side. I was a paid assassin. I could turn invisible and control people. Instead of choosing a side, I tried to make money off the war. I was a coward." Her face filled with regret.
