Ari narrowed her eyes. “Hector?” She asked it, unsure if it was him or just a passing traveler.
Athena went where Ari was. "What's going on?" She asked, pulling up her hood and turning invisible
A demon penetraited the smoke, charging at the injured Ari. Its horns were down, ready to spear her.

Above 15, it hits.
Ari quickly dodged to the side, and ran towards it, throwing a punch.

The punch skims the demon, but it still plummets downwards to the void.
Ari sighs, watching the demon fall down in the void. She had really hoped it was Hector. She looks around the terrain, spotting a steep hill. She taps a button on each of her boots, they shifted into talons, mechanical noises filled the silence as they worked. She climbed up the steep hill, being able to see more from higher up. She makes a few edits to the goggles mainframe, making them see heat signatures from further away.
The horizon is a mess of heat signatures and thunder. Its alive and filled to the brim with life.
Ari sighs, sitting cross legged and taking the goggles off. She runs her fingers through her hair, at this rate they would never find Hector, or whatever was left of him.
"Hey, seeing as I'm invisible, I'm going to go try to find Hector, ok?" Athena goes towards a island, looking for a manshaped heat signature
((hmmm. you know what, fine, I'll give up. But I'm curious to find out how Hector escapes.))
Athena went back to Ari and dragged her and Hetlerald back to the isle. "Hector's not there. We tried to find him, but he's not there. The only thing there is bloodthirsty monsters."

Ari remained silent as she thought. He couldn’t be dead, could he?
((Through the power of sheer badassery))
Hectors eyes began to slowly open, only to be met with monsters flying in circles over the tiny floating isle. Above them, the Great White, beneath the The Void.

Athena hugs Ari quickly, trying to be comforting. "Let's get a coffin. I've heard about the whole empty coffin thing for if you don't have the body." Athena gets up.
Ari shakes her head, her eyebrows furrowed. “I’m not giving up yet.” She mutters, Ari tended to be stubborn with these type of things.
"Ari, we can't go back there. We'll die. I don't want to leave any stone unturned when deciding if he's still alive either, but we can't go back. And if he was alive, why wouldn't he have responded when I called out his name?"
“Somewhere else, simple. Or unconscious or too weak to respond.” Ari says simply.
((Imma do it))
Two Himblas were flying by the isle. One of them caught the attention of the motherdragon, dragging her away from the nest.

Ari walked off away from the group, wanting to be alone for a while. “I'll be back later.” She says briefly as she walks away.
The other Himbla landed by Hectors side, then began chewing on his left wrist. The pain were excruciating, but Hector could barely move due to the drastic change in atmosphere,
Ari sat on a tall rock, watching the native animals scurry about their business.
