As RPR grows, so do our forums and our topics. The chat test topic has over 600 (!) replies and over 40 pages.

Would it be an idea to link to a set of page numbers on the front page of the forum itself? Below the topic title for example. Rather than having to open the topic and then navigate to a certain page, you can quickly go to page 1, 2 or 3 etc.

So, for example:

Numbered pages for topics on forum view Sanne 0 Sanne
April 7 2011, 7:40pm

Below the topic title, if there are 2 pages or more, add something like...

1, 2, 3 ... 8, 9, 10

The same way it's done inside the topic, but now outside.

Does that make sense?

I propose a "jump to last page" button prominently displayed with each thread, in addition to this.

Also, perhaps inside the thread, a "jump to page:" drop-down box.
