Happy 2018, everybody!!

WE SURVIVED THIS FAR. Go have a beverage of your choice, whether it be soda or something stronger.

So, this is the time of year when we all usually reflect on areas we can improve in our lives, and make resolutions! So, I have one simple (to ask) question for you;
What is your new year's resolution, in connection with writing/RPing?
Are you planning to revamp a character? Work on your writing style? Take classes?
Let me know!

For me, personally, I'm trying to build my portfolio because I'm aiming to try and getting a writing/editing job this year!

Get back into RPing and write a hell of a lot more as a way of destressing (lord knows, I need it!).

Getting paid to write ruined it for me as a hobby. This time I just want to take it easy and have fun.

My goal for writing, and life in general this year is to try and not nitpick so much. Understanding that having preferences and standards is fine, but to not be so stringent to the point that I cut myself off from potentially rewarding opportunities and experiences.

My mini-goal for this year is to actually RP on this site. I’ve been on here since 2015 and have only dipped my toes into open threads, without ever actually getting as far as engaging with other players. Two or three posts, and the thread has usually died by the time I returned.

Granted, part of the problem was that I was restricted to a discouraging smartphone format, but as I now have a new PC I can finally properly write posts and do my bios.

Basically, I want to finally get immersed in this site this year.
