As the door clicked closed behind Siltrake Sophia's ears lightly twitch as her eyes slowly fluttered open. Groaning lowly she slowly sat up stretching a little before scratching her head and looking around the room. Immediately seeing Siltrake had left caused her ears to subconsciously droop down, but upon noticing they had they perked back up. Shaking her head to clear her mind and wake her up more she sees out of the corner of her eye a piece of paper. As she picked it up and read it she couldn't help but smile. She couldn't believe that this guy, who was a stranger to her only last night, was helping her so much and more importantly was being so nice. She wasn't used to that, she was more accustomed to people yelling or running or just plan out staying away from her, but he didn't do that. Instead he welcomed her into his place and let her stay in his bed. He was nice to her and because of that she was becoming rather fond of him, and was hoping they could be friends. With those thoughts in her head she got out of bed with a smile as she reached for her dress and corset. Putting both on rather quickly she adjusted herself before stepping out of the trailer. Immediately she ducked into the shadows in case the ring master hadn't told the others about her. As she swiftly moved in the darkness she quickly made her way toward the center ring. Peering from around the bleachers she watched as the show went on.

Siltrake had yet to tell the ringmaster of Sophia's presense he did not have time. after all he was again at teh spotlight performing his various stunts and show. this time in the show he worked along side other acrobats. Once he was propelled in the air by the swinging trapeze artists he managed to spin and land in the hand of the other. This show was tuned down a bit for the other to be able to keep up with him. However towards the end he had planned something much more exciting. With each jump of the trapeeze artist he got lower to the ground each time. Once he was low enough, another swing came for him. Siltrake jumped onto the swing and spun fast around it and landed saftely on a target that was placed on the floor. After he was done he did back flips on the ground and spun with elegant grace until he was held by a strong man and lifted into the air. Siltrake stood on the mans palm upsidedown and using his palm for support. Once finished he jumped back down landing with so sign of flinching.

Siltrake after the show hurried out not like he normally does to meet the ring master. He smiled and bowed graciously before the ringmaster and began to speak to him of a shape shifter just like himself. An amazing trick he told him that she could change her age apperance. The ringmaster let out a hearty laugh as he patted his shoulder and told him he, and his newfound friend Sophia to meet him in his trailer.

Sophia watched them all preform in awe. Though their act wasn't as extravagant as the night before she was still so enchanted by it. The thought of performing and people actually liking you? She was excited but also a bit worried. The townspeople knew her so would they still cheer? Or would they boo and try and throw food and such at her? She didn't know but she knew she wouldn't stop till she found out. As she continued to think she was snapped back to earth as she saw Siltrake run over to someone. Assuming it to be the ring master she quietly scurried over to them in curiosity, staying in the shadows still. Keeping out of view but within ear shot Sophia listened to what they said. Upon hearing the man laugh she began to feel a bit worried but when he said for them to meet in his trailer she couldn't help but smile widely. Once the ringmaster left though Sophia crept up and stood behind Siltrake in silence. She stood there standing quiet as a mouse, waiting for him to notice her with her chesire cat smile.

Siltrake turned around looking at Sophia as soon as he sensed she was behind him. She smiled happily looking to him."well hello miss Sophia I put in a good word to the ring master to you. He said he would love to have you at the front tricking folks as the come through the freak show part of the circus. Oh it should be happening later tonight." he said with a bright smile.

Sophia listened to what he said and continued to smile with joy but worry as well, but yet again as Siltrake smiled her worry seemed to fade as she returned an almost brighter smile. Through her expression she began to wonder though if she was actually happy for once. Though curious she didn't think long on that for she wanted to respond quick as to not keep him away from anything he needed to do. So with a soft but still somewhat mischievous smile Sophia replied, "I'm so glad that he accepted me. It'll be fun, like always, to tease and trick the townsfolk. I wonder if they'll recognize me though or better yet if they'll try and do anything to me while I'm there tonight." She looked up at him before putting on an innocent face, "If they try to hurt me would you help me Mr. Siltra-" Before she could finish saying his name she realizes he knew hers, but she had never told him it. In confusion her expressions turns to curiosity as she questions him, "Mr. Siltrake how did you know my name? I don't remember ever saying it to you or around you so how did you know?"

Siltrake looked to Sophia as she was rather excited to be with him and in the circus. He could help but let a sinister laugh escape his lips. He gazed at her with his green eyes at her as he could tell she knew that he knew her name. He smiled and stuck out his tounge at her."oh yes i had a wild guess that was your name. and i was correct. So Miss Sophia i am glad you will be able to scare the townsfolk. They will not notice." she said with a grin looking at her.

As Siltrakes laugh echoed in her ears Sophia couldn't help but shiver. His laugh was so terrifying but at the same time, it was mesmerizing. But that mesmerization soon faded as Sophia saw him stick his tongue out at her. She huffed as her cheeks puffed out a bit like a small child would do before speaking to him, "That seemed like more then a guess, Mr. Siltrake. You sure you didn't just somehow know?" She leaned in as she finished her sentence to try and see if he could be lying or not before finishing her words with a little less fussiness. "You say the townsfolk won't notice but I always made sure they saw me so they'd know what to be afraid and worry about. So if they see me in this same dress they will know. Unless I have something else to wear, then I might be screwed."

Siltrake couldnt help but notice that he gave sophia chills when he laughed. His green eyes locoed with her eyes as she noticed her childish puffing of her face. He smiled as he took his finger and gently poked her puffed out cheek."come now, im sure we can get yiu something, another dress. After all if you ask im surr i can get you a nice dress. After all your part of the team too. " he said with a wide grin gazing at her. Hr smiled as he looked around to find the trailer that had clothes in it."come ill take you too one now."he said and grabbbed her hand suddenly and started to pull her along rather fast.

Sophia blinked as he poked at her cheek before looking back up at Siltrake. As he spoke and grinned at her she somehow believed him. She knew he could get her something else and believed him when he said she was part of the team, but why? She never believed anyone before so why now did she believe this young man? She stood there, pondering to herself yet again but was suddenly thrown back into reality as he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards a trailer. Her wonder may have been ceased but as she slowly looked down at their hands together she felt baffled. No one ever held her hand before, not even her own mother and she could forget about her father ever doing something so kind. With all that aside though she mindlessly followed him as her mind began to reel and spin. So many never did anything for her all her life but yet this Siltrake was doing it all in one, two days. Was he playing her, or was he possibly the first to somewhat understand her? Only time would tell and it seemed it was trying to tell her to focus as she stepped on her dress and tripped, falling hard on the floor all the while still holding Siltrakes hand.

Siltrake could not help but smile as he pulled Sophia along to the traiper. For a while he hadn't seen someone so serious in a long time. He felt he shoupd bring a smile to her face. As well as make her feel welcome, he liked the Kitsune's age changing antics as well as her quiet amd skepticwl self. It was almost as if he liked seeing someone who was so controlled overthemsleves. He on the other hand was as random and energetic as the shifting clouds and sunshine. Relentless yet sincere and full of untamed energy and spunk. He stopped when he felt his arm pulled down as he looked down to see Sophia on the ground. He frowned and leaned down to her and picked her small framw up in his arms and looked at her to make sure she was alright."miss Sophia, are you alright? i hope you do not mind this, but it looked like that fall hurt. Her let me offer my arms for now till we get to the trailer. I dont want you to get hurt. After all thats no fun, and frowning is not good eithee. It is much better to smile instead."he said and let his siganture goofy grin spread across his lips.

Sophia let off a soft whimper as the fall sent jolts of pain through her body. Focused on every sting her attention was soon broken as she felt the gentle touch of helpful hands holding her up. As she looked up she was somehow surprised it was Siltrake. She knew he was being nicer to her then anyone else had ever been but she thought even he had a limit to his kindness. With his gentle display and soft words she saw that maybe for once someone truly cared about her. The thought of that being a possibility, no not even that. The thought of it being a fact brought an overwhelming feeling that she was completely alien to. So as it rushed over her body her lip lightly quivered as her eyes clung gently to a liquidity substance. What was happening to her? She didn't know what her body was doing, but whatever it was it caused for the rest of her body to go limp as a rag doll being coddled in caring hands.

Siltrake held Sophia close knowing that fall good and well hurt her. He held her kindly as he looked down and saw tears welling in her eyes. He took his hand and wipped her tears away. He got to the costume trailer and was relived to see it was empty. He set Sophia down on one of the dressers and then took her leg and looked it over to see if she was bleeding. He smiled up to her and gently rubbed the back of her hand."It will be okay Sophia dont cry. They have.lovely costumes here, and some feel just like normal.clothes." He said with his goofy smile wanting to reassure her.

Sophia sniffles in natural reaction to what her body was doing but still she didn't know what it was until she heard Siltrake speak. Crying he said? This was crying? But she had never cried before not even when her father killed her mother. So why then was she crying now? Why now was this man making her cry? And why was he being so nice to her still? She sat there puzzled as her hand subconsciously wiped the remaining tears in her eyes as her other one stayed dead still in Siltrakes gentle grasp. Once the tears were all gone she looked up at him with lightly reddened eyes before hoarsely saying, "thank you" and for some reason, beyond her control, hugging him. She didn't know why she was doing it but whatever reason there was she didn't want to let go.

Siltrake smiled again as he heard Sophias quivering voice and her kind thankyou come from her lips. He was rather surpised when sophia flung her arms around him and began to hug him. He smiled and held her back and patted her back gently. "your welcome. Im sure you will be better. Besides you have me to help watch after you. Its not everyday I get to befriend an amazing ageshifting kitsune like you." He said with a big ile, his somewhat random and rather erratic behavior was gentle. However he hated to show his meaner side. He always wore his random goofy and sincere side more then anything.As he held the small kitsune he couldn't help but think how rough this kitsune had it. He smiled thougj to see his kindness was felt by her.

Sophia subconsciously nuzzled him before gently letting go. Looking at Siltrake with childlike eyes she managed to speak again but with an almost gentle tone, "Thank you again, Siltrake. You've done so much for me since I've been here." She mumbled under her breath sadly, "More then anyone's ever done for me." She looked up and into his eyes as she smiled a bit in what she thought to be joy. "But you really think my age shifting is amazing? The way everyone else acts because of it I thought it was always just bad, but maybe that's just from how I ac-" She stops before she finishes her word, catching herself in complete awe as she realizes what she's been doing. She had not only cried, but hugged, nuzzled, smiled, and spoke gently to this man. She had never done any of that stuff before to or around anyway! What the heck was going on with her? She felt weird but she somehow felt...good. "Owwww," She whimpered silently as she grabbed her head in confusion at what was going on with her, all the while forgetting that Siltrake is right there in front of her.

Siltrake couldn't help but smiled as the small Kitsune hugged him and he couldn't help but notice she had nuzzled him as well. With a bigger smile he heard her whisper the words thank you, and giver her words of endearment and gratitude. He looked to her as he noticed once more she was starting to slip out of reality as she grabbed her head and started to whimper. He quickly keeled down and put his hand on her shoulders, and looked sternly into her eyes. "hey, hey!! Sophia, calm down. Hey it will be alright. Dont go out on me." he said shifting his form into a gentler one, he gave himself a kitsune's appearance and he even had the facial tattoos on his body as well. He looked to her wanting her to be alright.

Sophia twitched and shook as her brain was wrecked with confusion, but as Siltrake called out to her she managed to open one eye and look up at him. Once she saw that he had changed to a kitsune her eyes snapped open but quickly squeezed shut again as she grabbed her head tighter. Why? Why was he doing this? Why was he trying so hard? Was he really trying to be nice to her or was he going to deceive and hurt her like everyone else had? Everyone else did so why would he be different? Could he be different though? But...But....owwwww. She held her head as she shook harder. She couldn't handle the possibility of someone actually caring about her. No one in her life ever did so, no one, but could he? She kept wrapping her mind around and around the possibility and slowly she stopped shaking. Maybe someone did finally understand her. Maybe someone finally saw more then a mischievous, little, taunting demon. And if those maybes were true, "Maybe you do actually care" she said out loud but silently under her breath.

Siltrka couldnt help but frown seeing his new friend in such a horrid state. He quickly took ahold of her and began to caress her hair trying to comfort her."hush now Sophia.I do care. Im not completly heartless. Even though im a bit off my rocker i mean well."he said as he wrapped hos tail around her. He let his lips turn upwards in a big happy smile, his sharp kitsune fangs aalo showed. He held her in his embrace holding her tight."now what kind of a man would I be if i didnt care? I do care, and I do not lie. Sure Im a scrambled man in my thinking hut dont be hurt, i dont like it if you are not okay."he said as he pulled away from her a bit and lifted her chin up and smiled as he nizzled her nose and rthen took his hands and put them on his face. He began to point out his smile."It is much better to smile."he daid his eyes bright.

As Siltrake continued to speak his words gradually helped Sophia's shaking disappear. Once her body remained completely still she slowly opened her eyes, their green glow shimmering as they were touched with tears from his gentle words. Opening her mouth Sophia tried to talk but her words were lost in her throat. Struggling to form even a sound she listened to every word Siltrake said till he was done. Finally finding a way to talk again she goes to try but as Siltrake points at his face and smiles Sophia couldn't help but laugh, full out laugh. Never in her life had she ever truly laughed unless it was at something she did or someones pain, but for once in her life she was laughing because she thought his silly gesture was just simply hilarious. She laughed and she laughed, so much that she had to grab her sides because they were starting to hurt from laughter. As her laughter soon died down she wiped her eyes and tried to catch her breath before finally saying, "Thank you so much Siltrake. I think I'm starting to see now that you do actually care. For once someone truly cares and I can fully believe that. I know you're not heartless and not really all that crazy or stumbled because if you were then you wouldn't have tried so hard to make me feel better again. So again I thank you but I also apologize for how I acted, I just...had never experienced something like this before so I was kind of in shock and surprise. So please truly forgive me."

Siltrake looked to her with a big smile as she stopped crying her eyes opening up. Hearing her laugh made him smile as well. He looked to her and he stood up getnly pulling her to her feet. With that he grabbed up and picked her up and set her down on the dressing table and spun off to go grab a rather nice dress. He smiled as he set it down for her and grinned."ah You are welcome, I am truly glad to make you feel better. And I am glad that you are able to experience kindness. Everyone does." He said as he let the markings glow on his face and his ears and tail twitch and wag happily.
