So, clear to say right off the bat, I am not a coder, but learn the basics out of necessity. However, with the profile maker you can get this yes/sometimes/no table right away , which is brilliant; drag, drop, and edit as you like. I would adore it if this could be implemented in groups as well. If this is an option strictly when it is epic, then ignore this, and inform me that that is the case.
A bit about my reasoning for this is that I could utilize the table not simply for yes/sometimes/no, because you can edit the options, I would use this for the difference of English and my worlds language on how to say the days and numbers, making this tool incredibly useful.
All the best.

I have thrown down a request for a table in groups once or twice before (once in an office hour, but a quick skim of the summaries didn't find it)
Kim said she had no plans for this but stated she had plans to fix the columns bbcode and wanted to know if that'd be sufficient. I said it wasn't exactly the same because it would be difficult to align information. But I don't think this convinced her, so I don't think it's on the table.

Well, nonetheless, this shows that there is a request for it from more than one person. And as aforementioned, I'm not terribly proficient at coding, but I don't see how this would be terribly difficult to implement a drag and drop use of a table since this is already done for character profiles. I can only assume that the coding for making this a drag-drop widget is already done and would be simple to add to the groups function. But again, it would be easy to correct me since I'm making a request for something I do not understand the mechanics of.
P.ost S.cript: I also think perhaps this is well timed. Kim did mention that this year she wanted to focus more on groups. Perhaps this will have a bigger impact with her goal in mind. Although, I'm certain Kim's list of things to do for the site would roll out my door, in all fairness.
I would actually really love to have one of those widget options too. It'd give group owners an ability to set up specific types of rules of "what's allowed and not allowed" in a short, sweet, to the point way. I'm pretty decent when it comes to BBCode and HTML, but I don't personally know how heavy the work would be for implementing this kind of widget. Definitely out of my skill range, but none the less, I was surprised to find that this wasn't a group option either.
If it's not going to ever be implemented, I'd at least love to hear a clean cut but explained answer as to why not?

I think at this point this IS on the table, and groups are a focus for me this year, so it's magically much higher up the list than it was the last time it was asked about.

Hurrah! I'm glad to hear this!
Whatever happens, even if this does not make it to all the edits you will do throughout the year, I'm happy enough that it is on the table. My thanks Kim for all that you do.
