The chamber was cold, dark. The echoing drips of water filled the air. Yet all at once, there was a roar, and flames lit upon the torches around the room. The chamber was a large circle, the walls painted with murals of the Ancient Hylden War. The commemorated the fall of the Hylden, and the rise of the Pillars that served as the key to bind their banishment. Yet, there was one more mural, not seen anywhere else. It depicted an alter, upon which laid a small ancient vampire child with red hair. Standing over her was an elder ancient vampire. In the back stood what was assumed to be her parents. A ceremony of sorts. In the center of the room stood the very same alter, though the little girl was no longer little. It seemed she didn’t escape the dark curse entirely. She was fully grown, centuries old, yet looked to be no more then twenty five. The clothes she wore were old and tattered, she had out grown them long ago. What was left of the white fabric was barely enough to cover her.

Her eyes suddenly snapped open. At first, they were the same yellow most vampire’s eyes are, yet suddenly they began to change. Darkness seeped in from around her eyes, turning them completely black, then, her pupils shifted to a bright red, and seemed to glow. A residual effect of the corruption that once plagued Nosgoth, now permanently showed on this female. Though in heart and spirit, she was still pure, but over time, she would grow to physically represent the decay of Nosgoth.

The girl sat up on the alter. She held her cloven hands out before her, admiring how they had changed in her centuries long slumber. She would have to adjust to the ‘new’ body. She shifted, throwing her feet over the edge of the alter, and pushed herself to her feet. Though now and adult, she still only stood about five feet in height. She took a moment to make sure her legs would hold her, then took a few test steps. She stopped midway between the alter and the walls, then commenced to testing the rest of her muscles. She moved her wings, arms, twisted her body, all seemed to be in good working condition.

She then walked along the room, looking over the murals. Each one had been added after her ceremony, a silent story to her of what happened after she went into her slumber. The rise of the pillars and the defeat of their enemies. The curse that drove her race to extinction. It was a depressing tale to her. She then stopped at the mural of her ceremony, and stared longingly at her parents for a long moment. Yet now she knew they were far beyond her reach. With a sigh, she moved to the one area without a mural, the door. It was sealed, yet with a wave of her hand, it swung open.

She was greeted with a winding cave, leading out to a mountain overhang facing the Pillars to the south. As she walked out onto that overhang, the sight that greeted her shocked the ancient vampire. Nosgoth was now nothing but a barren wasteland. She was supposed to wake when times were better, not when the world was dying.

Then she looked out to the pillars far to the south, standing pristine against the smoky sky. She took this as a sign of hope. Maybe she had woken at the end of a dark time, only when Nosgoth had just began to heal. With this in mind, she decided to travel to the south. The Pillars were the one thing that remained constant in this ever changing world, and it was there she would search for answers.

Garroth Grey (played by MrFalcon)

“Garroth finding the pillars was standing in front of all of the pillars and sees someone walking up towards them decided to wait there for the person”
Hey is this still open? It seems like it could be interesting if we kept it going
