Windsor College was as prestigious as it sounded. A high arched doorway stood in the middle of the plaza, facing out to busy streets. A crowd of what seemed like tight knit friends and classmates stood gathered in front of the entrance, chattering amiably.

Clutching her MacBook Air laptop to her chest, Bianca marched robotically to the entrance with a caramel latte in her free hand. Pink rhinestone headphones sat on top of her head. The song Cheap Thrills came on and she started to walk with an extra spring in her step, sidestepping a few students as she got nearly too close to them. She had an English lecture to attend today and she didn't want to be late for her first day.

The infamous Jax, who was known around the college for being a complete you-know-what, a player and an easily addicted jerk.
The brown haired boy was currently standing outside of an English classroom, a cigarette in his hand,not really caring if he got caught smoking on school grounds. Every time a teacher passed, he would simply shoot them an innocent smile and hide the cig behind his back, the smell of his cologne easily covering the strong nicotine.
He was in deep thought, one foot up against the wall next to the door, tapping on said wall, and the other simply placed for support. He was thinking about what he would do that night. Yes, it was only early morning, but he like to plan his day ahead. Maybe he'd find his dealer and get a few packs, maybe find someone to hang out with, he didn't really care that day.
He took a long smoke, grinning as he watched the smoke pour out of his mouth. He let out a small cough, squinting an eye as he watched an old enemy pass, easily jolting his foot out and making them trip up. He let out a chuckle as they scrambled back up and rushed away.
It was dangerous to be Jax's enemy, it was dangerous to be included with Jax overall. It wasn't just him that was dangerous, it was other people too, people that wanted him dead, and he would let them simply have their fun and kill him, but he thought that'd be too easy, to he proffered to stay alive just to screw with them.
He gave a glance to passing people, most of them staring with shock or disgust at his cigarette which was placed neatly in between his tanned fingers.
He gave it a quick twirl before taking another smoke and putting it out, chucking it near an ex's locker, easily passing all the blame onto her. He let a smirk cross his face as he thought of the punishment she would get. Restrictions, bannings, even suspensions if she objected.
But, not many people objected to their punishments, as most of them were Jax's fault, and like it was mentioned, he was dangerous.

Jonathan was a mysterious character to most, he rarely spoke to anyone outside his small friend group which was an oddity within itself as his friends were rarely near each other at the same time. He seemingly had gained a reputation for being apathetic twords most parts of life as well. Some even thought he was suicidal the way he seemingly always disregarded Jax as if he were a petulant child rather than a criminal that could ruin his life. Though strangely despite the boys best efforts he is never able to pin Jonathan for anything, simply because the staff liked him too much. Well that was what he told others anyway. Currently Jonathan walked amongst the halls with a book in hand. The large novel was one he’d read many times and planned on reading again. Unconsciously as he passed, he picked up a cigarette nearby one of the lockers nearby and tossed it in the nearest trash can next to the boy toy standing in the hall. The guy wasn’t threatening in the slightest to him, he looked more like a depressed emo playboy model then anything.

He rolled his eyes and lifted his book from his under arm and brought it close to his face to read as he had poor vision and the glasses he wore helped very little. So much so was he distracted that he ran into a girl on her way into glass from the back.

Unfortunately for Bianca, the classroom she was intending to go to was at the opposite building of the entrance hall, so that meant she had to trek for at least 5 minutes if she wasn't lucky and got lost. The chattering grew louder as she turned around the corner of the Science Hallway, and she spotted an open lab. A girl with double pigtails was pouring some icky green liquid into a jar while another was dicing up what looked like.. gunpowder. Taking a double take, she'd quickly turn into the Math Hallway, hoping to find some peace in this new building.

It looked like she came to the wrong place for peace.

A couple of Math professors were debating loudly in a classroom about whether the value of 'x' was greater than 9. The bearded professor shook his head while the other two female professors started a new equation to 'determine him wrong'. A few minutes later into the conversation, a few students entered the classroom to participate in said debate. Dissatisfied with the disruptive conversation, she'd turn around 90 degrees to face the lockers only to feel someone bumping into her.

She lurched forward, nearly tripping over her two feet as she tried to collect herself up. Thankfully her laptop hadn't crashed face first into the ground or she would have screwed up most of her important literature help documents inside. Unhooking her headphones from her mobile device, she stuffed the device into the side pocket of the army jacket she was wearing and turned to the person who bumped into her. "Hello, can I help you?"

Jax was watching a fight going on in a nearby corridor, easily amused by it, but was extremely irritated from the other noises of the college. Why did he come here again?
Oh yeah, because apart from being a jerk and many other awful things, he was actually pretty smart. Very unexpected, especially for a guy like him. If he changed everything about him, he could easily become one of those cliche nerds that wore glasses and braces and walked around with knee high socks on and short-dungarees.
He let out a snort laugh as he thought of the image, plopping his face onto the poor lad.
Jesus, that did not suit him.
That had distracted him from the fight, which meant he didn't realise it had been moved outside. That also irritated him. He decided to take out his annoyance on a couple passing students, easily sliding his foot out and tripping them up, watching as they either glared at him, or scurried away quickly after gathering everything they'd dropped.
He preferred people that were afraid of him to people that were not.
It was good to be feared. It meant no one would pick on you, or deliberately annoy you just for the hell of it.
The boy honestly didn't know why he was this way, it could've been multiple reasons. He got bullied in freshman year, and that perhaps made him stronger. His mum and dad disowned him after divorcing, not wanting anything to do with him even thought he'd done nothing wrong, that perhaps made him merciless. There could be so many other things listed, but that's for the book he writes about himself.

His attention was sharply drawn to the sound of a female voice down the math corridor, making his head turn to that way. Once he'd caught sight of the host, he raised an eyebrow, actually finding this girl attractive for once. He usually just eyed up girls for the sake of it, not caring for their looks. Sometimes not even just girls...
Off track. Jax let out a soft and quiet laugh once realising she'd bumped into somebody, and quickly turned his head back to the floor, but tuned in his multi-tasking and listened closely.

After uttering the question, Bianca chose to sip at her latte to avoid awkward eye contact. She observed the person who bumped into her, taking the time to eye him up and try to understand his background. He had the average 'player' look going on for him- icy blue eyes, unkempt blond hair and a ridiculously tall stature. Of course, his somewhat handsome outlook did contribute to some of her interest in him, but there was no way she was going to fall for this type of guy after what had happened last time.

Feeling uneasily at the prolonged answer as well as her past memories of her breakup, she looked around the room and found an intriguing-looking guy that resembled a friend from her high school. From a distance, he look disengaged from life around the academy, focusing his gaze on the floor as if that was the most important thing in the whole world. She however couldn't pinpoint why she felt shivers down her arm. Perhaps he was eavesdropping to the busty blonde beside him as she gossiped away about some nerd who wasn't worth her time?

He turned to her, his eyes peering at her as if looking into her very soul. He offered his hand to assist her in standing up; and he was quite amazed her hadn’t managed to spill her drink.
“My mistake, I wasn’t looking where I was going.” He said with a small nod of acknowledgement as he bent down to pick up the book he’d dropped when he ran into her.
He swept some hair from his eye and turned back to her as she stood.
“If your lost I can help you find your way?” He asked her as he offered his hand to her before going silent.

She seemed a curiosity to him, this was because she seemed to choose not to meet his eyes nor even look at him. He wanted to ask her about it but honestly thought better. He’d figured out the price of meddling in people’s personal lives years ago after all.

He sighed as if in annoyance and put his headphones on not bothering to put on any music. “Nice meeting you”. He spoke softly.

Hearing someone talk, her eyes immediately slid back to the person in front of her as they finally spoke. She coughed lightly as she noticed him sigh, probably because she didn't respond to his question in time. "Sorry about that, something caught my attention and I couldn't look away." She cringed as she spoke, suddenly realizing she sounded very rude and she quickly backtracked, waving her arms side to side as she tried to explain herself, "Sorry, someone just happened to catch my attention, I'm not trying to be rude at all!"

Blushing in embarrassment, she would also extend her hand out for a handshake, "I'm Bianca Roseman, a first year English student. What's your name?"

Jax glanced to the girl and the boy again, squinting an eye as they suddenly became out of earshot, making him sigh.
Well, there goes his enteratinment for the last...
He quickly swept out of phone from his pocket, clicking the home button and making the time pop up.
...Ten minutes until the English class started. That made another sigh escape his lips.
He rolled his eyes and drew his attention to a maths professed further don the corridor, tilting his head as he watched them carry a very big bundle of books, dodging many passing students.

The boy watched the professor for around another two minutes, before an old friend who had blonde hair and crystal blue eyes grabbed his attention. They had obviously seen him too, and walked over, earning a fist-bump from the brown haired boy and a hug. Jax hadn't seen this friend in a while as they were in different classes. "Jax, mate, it's awfa' great to see ya'," the male friend said, a Scottish accent becoming recognisable.
"Aye, it's great to see you too, Caleb," Jax replied, playfully punching the boys arm, his own accent mainly American but with a hint of scottish too, having lived there at one point.
The pair kept talking for a while, but Jax's attention was still mainly on the girl down the corridor, giving her quick glances before looking back to his friend.
They soon parted, Jax giving him another hug and a 'see you later, mate,' before the friend, named as Caleb, walked off.
