You hadn't fed in what felt like forever. You were starved of blood to the point where just thinking about it nearly sent you into a frenzy. You try to hold out, but eventually you loose all control... You wake up in an alleyway, feeling quite refreshed. You get up with a spring in you step, until you discover a body as pale as snow not too far away. Guilt fills your mind as you glance to their neck, finding two perfect marks where teeth had pierced. This had been your doing, there was no denying it. You had taken this man's life. Just as you begin to wonder what to do with the body, he moves. Not only did he manage to live, but within the few seconds you had looked away the bite had healed. It was impossible he was alive, you'd taken all of his blood. You felt full as ever, and he certainly looked dead. And yet the pale body turned over on his back, and you couldn't help but be curious how he had made it... What now?
Perhaps this could be the key to becoming mortal? Or an endless drinking supply? Maybe even a new race being discovered? I've left this post fairly vague and short because this could go anywhere! This doesn't have to have a good ending, so let's get the creative juices flowing!
For this rp I'm looking for someone who can write about 1-3 paragraphs per post, but in all honesty I prefer quality over quantity. Decent grammar is expected, but a typo or mistake (especially if English isn't your first language) is completely fine. Usually I prefer if my partner can post at least two or three times a week, unless something comes up of course. Real life comes first! If you have any questions or are interested please let me know. Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.

Distant war may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat will likely be summarized, not played out in detail.
