"Ok." Athena grabbed a stick and started carving it into a spear.
"Where were you guys when the Corruption began?" Athena asked Shade and Calan after she finished carving her spear. She put the spear in the ship on a pile of other carved weapons.
Calans face darkened. "Home."
"I don't like to talk about it" Calan looked saddened and hugged herself.
Athena put a hand on her shoulder. "That's ok. We all have things we'd rather keep to ourselves." She smiled.
"As for me I woke up in some sewer tunnel, no name, no memory, just me and the darkness" Shade said staring at the ceiling.
She sank more into her scarf. "Well then"
"I was in a cave that I'd charmed to resist the darkness, so I wasn't affected"
"Clever, what've you been doing since?"
"Mainly trying not to be killed. Looking for sane people. Trying to find my sister. Stuff like that."
"Heh, is anyone sane anymore?"
Calan cracked her knuckles. "So this thing needs fuel?"
"Well don't look at me if you want much in the way way of sanity" Shade chuckled "can't believe magic user's like you girl's still exist, can't be many left with the darkness rolling in".
"Yep. The blood of a magical Darkling." she said to Calan. "No idea how many ofus are left, but we most definitely exist." She said to Shade, smiling at him and Calan.
"Well regarding fuel as I said about a day ago in my travels I spotted a town being raised by darklings, should be some magic darklings there if your up for a fight" said Shade, grinning under his mask at the thought.
"I am most definitely up for a fight. Does anyone need extra weapons? I had a lot of free time and took up carving." She gestures to her small stack of weapons that contained a bow and 19 arrows, three spears, and a long pole.
"No thanks, all I need is my two old friends," said Shade, gesturing at the knives on his hip.
