My name is Cylarn, and I'm a twenty-three-year-old dude from North Carolina. I've been RP'ing for some time now; starting out with private text-based servers at places such as BYOND, before moving onto forum-based RP'ing. I've done some writing within a single forum site (not sure if mentioning them will count as an advertisement), and been the author of many RPs. I tend to sway away from most fantasy, focusing upon character-based realistic and historical fiction, with themes ranging from crime and military/law enforcement procedurals, to action and horror. RPs push me to research, and to delve into my own imagination, harnessing whatever might be in my brain and furnishing it into a work of writing.
What might I be here for? As much as I love my current community, I want to branch out, and see if my ideas might resonate greater with a different audience. I've been running on a dry spell recently, when it comes to long-running RPs. While I might not immediately begin churning out roleplays, I am very interested in forging connections and writing up some collaborative RPs to run.
